Police blotter: Two different grandson scams reported

7:50 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Plaza Drive reported a man sleeping behind the business.
8:31 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of railroad Avenue reported a theft last night.
10:23 a.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported a physical fight between a man and a woman; no one was located.
10:30 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Old Tunnel Road reported the theft of a $2,500 check.
10:47 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man who steals frozen yogurt.
11:19 a.m. — A woman reported receiving a phone calls from a man pretending to be a public defender and saying he needed $10,000 due to her grandson’s vehicle accident.
12:26 p.m. — A caller reported a burglary.
2:40 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported six or seven juveniles in a dispute and smoking pot; no drugs were found.
4:17 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported a man caused a disturbance in the emergency room and fled in his hospital gown.
4:35 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Harper Street reported a vacant home had been broken into, and there were beer bottles and human feces inside.
8:23 p.m. — A caller form the 100 block of Minnie Street reported people setting up a camping area.
9:49 p.m. — A woman from the 500 block of Jenkins Street reported she had the neighbor’s 5-year-old and 7-year-old children; the parents were intoxicated and not responding. The man was arrested on two outstanding warrants, and the children were released to their grandparents.
1:28 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported a woman who would not leave; she was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and outstanding warrants.
5:25 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Olympia Park Road reported a violent woman punching items in a room. A mental health hold report was taken.

8:43 a.m. — A woman from Allison Ranch Road reported a juvenile at a bus stop threw a rock at her vehicle.
8:53 a.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Siesta Drive reported a physical fight. A man being arrested by a bail bondsman reported he was punched in the face. The bondsman reported the man was combative.
10:25 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Rockmar Lane reported a possible scam.
11:24 a.m. — A woman from Empire Mine Cross Road and East Empire Street reported a man might have been dumping trash, took a picture of her, tailgated her and then waited in front of a friend’s residence.
1:31 p.m. — A woman from the 14000 block of Sunrock Road reported receiving a suspicious call from a man pretending to be her grandson.
2:05 p.m. — A caller from Brewer Road reported possible marijuana growing inside a residence.
2:08 p.m. — A caller from Union Hill School reported a raccoon problem.
6:30 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Welsh Lane reported a residential burglary with broken glass in the bedroom.
6:44 p.m. — A caller from Greenhorn and Lost Lake roads reported hearing 20 to 25 shots from automatic weapons. Nothing was located.
6:45 p.m. — A be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued for a white Dodge quad cab stolen from John Born Road.
9:55 p.m. — A woman from Swallow Way reported her son stole her meds.
4:56 a.m. — A woman from Rough and Ready Highway reported someone trying to break into her trailer.
