8:11 a.m. — A caller from Silver Springs High School reported a student strangling another student.
10:13 a.m. — A caller from the 1200 block of Highway 49 reported two people camping inside a vehicle.
10:13 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported a transient camp, which could not be located.
12 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Whiting Street reported a man and a woman in a physical fight. A person was cited on unknown charges.
12:25 p.m. — A man from the 500 block of Wiley Lane reported a person had been using his information to cash Social Security checks and has been using his credit card.
1:12 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Crown Point Circle reported a theft.
1:16 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a theft.
1:17 p.m. — A caller from Sierra College reported vandalism.
1:19 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Iron Horse Place reported a theft.
1:27 p.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a theft.
1:55 p.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported her vehicle window was broken, but nothing was taken.
4:28 p.m. — A caller from East Main and South Auburn streets reported finding drug paraphernalia.
5:45 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported a man broke into her apartment.
6:29 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of a bicycle.
6:45 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a woman was selling drugs to juveniles.
7:12 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 200 block of East Main Street reported a dine and dash by two women.
7:30 p.m. — A man from the 900 block of West Main Street reported his wife punched him. She was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.
9:13 p.m. — A woman from West Main and North Church streets reported a man threw juice all over her and ran away.
12:07 a.m. — A man was stopped at Park Avenue and Marshall Street and was reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine, hydrocodone and anti-depressants. He was arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled substances. While being booked, he allegedly admitted to possessing drug paraphernalia and was booked on that charge, as well.
7:11 a.m. — A caller from City Hall reported a theft in the parking lot area.

8:16 a.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Magnolia Road requested extra patrols due to a man banging on her door.
10:23 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Old Downieville Highway reported people camping on private property.
11:07 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Boreham Lane reported a possible phone scam.
1:22 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Red Dog Road reported a man assaulted her. She did not need medical attention.
2:37 p.m. — A caller from Nevada Union High School reported a student assaulted another student before running away; both were believed to be Silver Springs’ students.
2:53 p.m. — A caller from Branding Iron and Pleasant Valley roads reported a transient possibly living on the property.
5:59 p.m. — A caller from the 22000 block of Keller Road reported an attempted fraud.
6:25 p.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of McDaniel Road reported an attempted burglary, possibly by a neighbor, who pulled a revolver when approached. A report was taken.
7:14 p.m. — A caller from highway 49 and Newtown Road reported road rage.
8:45 p.m. — A man from Long Court reported a man assaulted him and forged checks.
9:52 p.m. — A man from the 15000 block of Robert Court reported the fraudulent use of a credit card.
11:05 p.m. — A woman from Success Cross Road reported hearing voices in her kitchen.
