Police Blotter: The earth oozing blood, abandoned cats and lost cows

10:24 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Mountain House Road complained about an aggressive dog.
10:44 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported someone used a credit card without authorization to buy a computer.
11:51 a.m. — A man arrived in the lobby of the county sheriff’s office to report his brother and his brother’s wife were threatening him and he was afraid to go home.
12:06 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Kingswood Court reported a male subject walked into a fire station and claimed that blood was oozing from the ground and there were bodies all over his property. When the male subject was informed that law enforcement would be contacted, he took off down the road. No case was opened on the matter.
12:40 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Mobley Springs Road reported a woman had approximately 20 abandoned cats on her property.
12:42 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Peardon Road reported a subject brought several cats that were shot with a BB gun.
2:01 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Madrone Forest Drive reported possible fraud and theft of money from his bank account.
3:04 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Pine Street reported that a person known as “Crazy Pat” stole a $6 block of cheese.
4:03 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Gayle Lane reported a man who was walking in her neighborhood was taking pictures of the caller’s children. When confronted, the man said he was moving into the neighborhood and wanted to show his children that there were kids in the neighborhood.
8:11 p.m. — A caller from Rough and Ready Highway reported a man dressed in all black leapt out of the bushes as he drove past the hospice building.
12:08 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported that a large group of young people were loitering in front of gas station and they asked the caller if she wanted to party. They then offered her heroin and when she refused, they began cussing at her.
1:47 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Provenza Court reported lost cows.
2:29 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Grizzly Hill Road reported that he just came home from work to find neighbors trespassing on his property and threatening his children as a result of a ongoing property issue.
Police logs were not available from the Nevada City or Grass Valley police departments.
