Friday — 81 calls for service
7:32 a.m. — A caller at a business on the 1700 block of East Main Street reported an abandoned or stolen vehicle on their lot.
7:55 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of North Church Street reported the theft of a backpack from their unlocked vehicle.
11:20 a.m. — A caller on the 300 block of Northstar Place reported an ongoing issue of vehicular burglaries in the area.
1:49 p.m. — A customer at a bakery/coffee shop on the 900 block of Sutton Way called and reported the theft of a laptop, which was subsequently located.
3:15 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Bank Street reported the residential burglary in which multiple items were stolen, including money.
4:13 p.m. — A employee of a restaurant on the 700 block of Taylorville Road reported a customer that left without paying for their meal.
4:41 p.m. — A caller on the 11600 block of Rainbow Road reported a fawn stuck in a fence with its mother nearby.

12:32 p.m. — A caller on the 17200 block of Cattle Driver reported a burglary of a cargo trailer.
2:52 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Highway 174 and Mount Olive Road reported three men driving around in a large army truck with wood in the back were attempting to lure young juveniles into their truck.
3:28 p.m. — A caller on the 22000 block of Egbert Hill Road reported being assaulted by a tow truck driver in July.
3:42 p.m. — A caller on the 13600 block of Jones Bar Road reported that sheep was attacked by a dog and its injuries were so severe that the caller executed the sheep by firing two shots.
6:08 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Harmony Ridge Road with Highway 49 reported a drunk driver.

12:58 a.m. — A caller on the 13500 block of Quaker Hill Cross Road reported a man persistently knocking on her door, claiming that his car is broken down and refusing to leave the porch.
1:27 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Red Dog and Banner Lava Cap roads reported that she was sleeping in her Jeep when some subjects came and vandalized it and then chased her.
7:31 a.m. — A caller on the 10200 block of Pequot Lane reported a dog stuck in a fence, possibly with a broken leg.
8:18 a.m. — A caller on the 19700 block of Maywood Place reported finding a Australian shepherd puppy that was subsequently transported to an animal shelter.
1:50 p.m. — A caller on the 13400 block of Grand Oaks Place reported a burglary and stolen items missing.

4:49 p.m. — A caller at a day care on the 400 block of South Pine Street requested an officer’s assistance with a 7-year-old child trying to break through a door after the caller was unable to get a hold of the child’s parents.
5:18 p.m. — A caller on the 15900 block of Airport Road reported that a middle-aged man in a blue pickup truck followed her son and a friend who were walking down the road.

8:56 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of King Hiram Drive reported a man “flipping out” in an apartment. A report was taken about a marijuana theft.
11:27 a.m. — A caller on the 600 block of Spring Street a residential burglary.
12:22 p.m. — A caller on the 500 block of Jordan Street reported sewage backing up in the street.
