Police blotter: Sick raccoons cause concern

7:49 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported vandalism to a dumpster.
7:54 a.m. — A caller from Highways 20 and 49 reported the traffic signals were cycling too quickly and causing a half-mile backup.
2:56 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of East Main Street reported a person passed out on the staircase, who was found to have been drinking.
3:31 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Margaret Lane reported possibly having been scammed by a door-to-door meat-cutting business.
3:43 p.m. — A caller from the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man stole items from a vehicle at a car wash. He could not be located.
4:04 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Bank Street reported a wallet had just been stolen from the women's restroom.
4:33 p.m. — A caller reported the theft of a cell phone.
7:52 p.m. — A caller from East Main Street and Presley Way reported two sick raccoons running in and out of traffic. An injured raccoon was reported at 8:46 p.m., but it could not be located.
7:58 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Buena Vista Street reported people throwing trash. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating probation.

8:33 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Miwok Path reported vandalism to a vehicle.
8:59 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Varnell Drive reported a man attacked him and tried to strangle him. It was mutual combat and no charges were desired.
9:13 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported a physical fight involving two men. A report was taken.
10:03 a.m. — A caller from Gold Drive reported people camping in a big tent; no one was located.
10:28 a.. — A caller from Highway 49 and Pekolee Drive reported a road rage incident.
11:10 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Will O Wisp Court reported a man slashed tires and vandalized a power box and lines.
11:46 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Plover Way reported a burglary.
12:30 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Cerrito Road reported fraud concerns.
12:51 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Valley View Road reported online fraud.
3:27 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported a man with possible alcohol poisoning. At 3:39 p.m., Cal Fire reported a combative patient. At 4:59 p.m., a caller reported the man had walked away from medical treatment, and had broken a window and locked himself in a room. He was breaking multiple items and then left. A BOLO was issued.
3:51 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Quail Creek Road reported possible abused horses.
3:53 p.m. — A caller form the 12000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported a man in full camo walking with a large gun. He could not be located.
4:41 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Cruzon Grade Road reported a neighbor trespassing on a tractor.
5:44 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Washington Road reported a possible alcohol overdose.
6:27 p.m. — A caller from McCourtney and Wolf Mountain roads reported a vehicle spinning doughnuts and spitting rocks.
7:31 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Quail Creek Road reported a woman hit his vehicle with hers and left at a high rate of speed.
8:28 p.m. — A girl from Loma Rica Drive reported she accidentally stabbed her sister in the mouth with a butter knife. She was given medical advice.

1:15 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Spring Street reported three men loitering; one was cited on suspicion of not having a dog license.
