Police blotter: residential burglaries reported

Grass Valley Police Department
6:42 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Doris Drive reported a rollover accident. The male driver had been speeding, according to witnesses. He was reported to be standing in the road, screaming, and then hiding on North Auburn Street. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run.
7:59 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported a couple parking in front of a business, blocking access, and then going into the woods to camp at night.
8:21 a.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported a large cement table had been broken into pieces near the disc golf course.
10:10 a.m. — A caller reported the theft of a firearm.

11:16 a.m. — A man from the 700 block of Butler Street reported the theft of $1,700 from the glove box of an unlocked vehicles, as well as two fishing poles and a child's toy.
1:26 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported 10 to 12 juveniles pushing and fighting; they could not be located.
1:31 p.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Race Street reported a burglary of a vehicle, with sunglasses and other items stolen.
2:16 p.m. — A caller from Primrose lane reported a motorhome had a bullet hole in it.
4:18 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sutton Way reported a person in a sleeping bag, who was moving on.
7:07 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man asking people for money and to sell him marijuana. He was gone when an officer arrived.
2 a.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of Segsworth Way reported finding a syringe.

9:18 a.m. — A woman from the 20000 block of Clydesdale Road reported a neighbor took apart a dam she had built to keep water off her property, and removed a no-trespassing sign.
11:07 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Scott Way reported a scam.
11:11 a.m. — A woman from the 16000 block of Dog Bar Road reported several cows in her driveway since yesterday. The owner was contacted.
12 p.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Chestnut Court reported fraud and elder abuse.
12:15 p.m. — A woman from the 18000 block of Jayhawk Drive reported the theft of silver from her residence.
1:45 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Gold Hill Drive reported a burglary to a residence with the front door found wide open. The house had been ransacked.
4:35 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of East Bennett Road reported a residential burglary.
5 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Sunset Avenue reported two men pounding on her door and looking in the windows. They could not be located.
9:48 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Berggren Lane reported identity theft.
11:15 p.m. — A woman from the 16000 block of Gray Oak Drive reported a man assaulted her. He was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.
3:08 a.m. — A man from the 14000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported people were hitting his truck; no damage was found.

11:11 a.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported vandalism.
12:14 p.m. — A caller from Galena Way reported a burglary.
2:24 p.m. — A caller from Long Street reported the theft of a change jar from a vehicle.
8:10 p.m. — A caller from Nile Street reported a man pulled a knife while the caller was bringing him some food.
8:13 p.m. — A woman from Willow Valley Road made multiple calls to report a man with a gun; she was found to have mental health issues.
11:08 p.m. — A woman from Spring Street reported a woman had her purse and jacket stolen.
5:11 a.m. — A caller from East Broad Street and Nivens Lane reported power lines were down.
1:16 p.m. — A caller from Zion Street reported five juveniles smoking marijuana.
6:32 p.m. — A caller from Broad Street reported a man passed out in the hotel lobby.
9:38 p.m. — A caller from Broad Street reported a physical fight involving two men.
10:01 p.m. — A caller from Coyote Street reported the theft of a bank card and food card.
8:53 a.m. — A caller from North Pine Street reported the theft of a dark blue Mercedes with a roof rack.
9:14 p.m. — A man from Zion Street reported being assaulted by hi wife and daughter, who then left.
