Police blotter: Prowling bird admonished

7:55 a.m. — A caller from Grass Valley Charter School reported a burglary to a classroom, with 25 iPads and a personal computer taken.
10:09 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of North Auburn Street reported finding a hypodermic needle, which was to be collected for destruction.
1:18 p.m. — A woman from the 400 block of Pine Street reported a woman punched her vehicle before leaving. Another caller reported the woman hit a child in the head. She could not be located.
2:47 p.m. — A woman at the 600 block of Freeman Lane was cited on suspicion of panhandling. She said she was from Romania and had been driven up to Grass Valley from Sacramento to beg for money; she was with two children.
5:26 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of a tip jar.
5:44 p.m. — A caller from Neal and Auburn streets reported a motorcycle crashed into a light pole, and then the driver fled the scene.
8:59 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Alta Vista Avenue reported a possible prowler at the bedroom window and back door. A bird was admonished and was moving on.

8:12 a.m. — A caller from Tall Pines Mobile Home Park reported raw sewage.
9:49 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Dobbins Drive reported an ongoing issue with barking dogs.
9:52 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Linnet lane reported possible illegal tree cutting.
11:55 a.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Green valley Road reported a fraud.
12 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Banner Quaker Hill Road reported the theft of a camera backpack from an unlocked vehicle.
12:30 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Francis Drive reported vandalism to a front window of a residence, possibly by a BB gun.
1:23 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Leitner Drive reported identity theft.
2:20 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Lake Wildwood Drive reported her husband was being obnoxious and squirting her with water.
3:27 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Black Road reported a man was breaking items in a house.
4:13 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Wildwood West Drive reported a possibly rabid skunk, which was dispatched.
5:02 p.m. — A caller from Brunswick Road and McBoyle Way reported possible drug activity.
5:07 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of You Win Court reported a dispute with a person who had been breaking items and who was now leaving. At 5:40 p.m., the caller reported a man had been attacked by a dog.
6:56 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Kevin Lane reported a man assaulted her; a BOLO was issued.
5:09 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Combie Road reported someone on the deck, trying to get in. A deer was located in the back yard.

3:23 p.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported smokers on the boardwalk.
