Police blotter: Pantsless scooting, kidnapped propane truck and six loose cows

9:55 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Springhill Drive and Idaho-Maryland Road reported the theft of a vehicle.
12:52 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a voicemail from her son; she “does not like the sound of his voice.” She did not believe it was her son.
1:56 p.m. — A resident came into Grass Valley Police Department’s building to report the theft of mail.
1:56 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Crown Point Plaza reported the theft of gas from multiple vehicles.
4:32 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Nevada City Highway reported an automobile theft had just occurred.
9:00 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a subject who was yelling at people, had his pants around his ankles and was scooting across the ground.
11:43 p.m. — A caller at a business near the intersection of Neal and South Auburn streets reported the theft of goods.

8:49 a.m. — A caller from the 19600 block of Echo Blue Drive reported that a resident blocked a propane truck from leaving until he filled her tank.
10:29 a.m. — A caller from the 21200 block of McCourtney Road reported the theft of a laptop.
11:04 a.m. — A caller from a business on the 19700 block of Cerrito Road reported what appears to have been the theft of multiple credit cards’ information.
11:08 a.m. — A caller from the 10900 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported discovering a homeless camp within the “defined” fence of his back yard. The caller was advised against confronting the transients to evict them without the assistance of the sheriff’s office.
12:26 p.m. — Deputies were requested to assist with six loose cows on the 13800 block of Tyler Foote Road.
1:59 p.m. — A caller from the 2100 block of McCourtney Road reported the theft of a laptop.
4:12 p.m. — A caller from the 11700 block of Ridge Road reported the theft of a cell phone and tracked its location over the Internet.
