Grass Valley Police Department
7:38 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Whiting Street reported a driver hit a telephone pole. No damage was found.
10:44 a.m. — A man from the 700 block of South Auburn Street reported the theft of electricity by a trailer.
11 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Butler Street reported identity theft.
12:02 p.m. — A woman from the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a person beat her up.
1:55 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man took a purse from a vehicle. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, committing a felony while on bail, possession of drug paraphernalia and stolen property, and failing to appear on a warrant.
5:50 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a vehicle theft. The caller had been loaned the vehicle by a dealership, and then loaned it to a friend; the vehicle was taken by a third party. The vehicle was eventually picked up by the victim.

8:19 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Strawberry Circle reported a raccoon tearing up the yard every night.
9:33 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Upward Way reported a burglary to a workshop.
9:37 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Elliot Way reported trespassing.
9:45 a.m. — A caller from Mystic Mine Road reported a man had gone off the deep end and was talking abut an A-bomb about to be dropped. He was arrested on suspicion of battery on a custodial officer.
10:45 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Greenhorn Road reported the theft of a generator on Oct. 26.
11:09 a.m. — A caller from Mountain View Drive reported a theft.
11:14 a.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Dog Bar Road reported a neighbor who yells and curses at the caller in the middle of the night.
12:50 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Hummingbird Drive reported fraud and theft.
12:52 p.m. — A caller from McCourtney Road reported a juvenile out of control and pounding on the walls.
2:44 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Arctic Close reported a theft.
3:14 p.m. — A woman from Highway 20 and Pleasant Valley Road reported a brick was thrown at her vehicle.
3:59 p.m. — A caller from Alpha Toll Road reported a dog attack.
3:59 p.m. — A caller from Elliott Way reported a homeless camp.
4:17 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Manion Canyon Road reported a neighbor cutting wood without permission.
5:25 p.m. — A caller from highway 49 reported being run off the road.
5:43 p.m. — A caller from Hughes Road and East Main Street reported a bear.
9:13 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Red Dog Road reported a person breaking items in a house. A man was arrested on suspicion of vandalism.
10:12 p.m. — A caller from Blazing Star Road reported a boy broke a window and hit a girl. He kept breaking windows.
10:28 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Rainbows End reported about 10 rounds from a shotgun. It was quiet when deputies arrived.
12:07 a.m. — A man from Highway 49 and Ladybird Drive reported paparazzi on the road.
5:43 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Via Vista reported signs of forced entry into a home with several items missing.

1:26 a.m. — A physical fight was reported in the 300 block of Broad Street.
1:09 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Brock Avenue reported two people trying to get into the window of a residence. Police detained two at gunpoint; they were found to be juveniles trying to sneak back in, and were released to parents.
9:22 p.m. — A caller reported a burglary to a vehicle with a pack stolen that contained a driver's license, wallet, checkbook and sunglasses.
5:45 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sacramento Street reported a man sleeping in a hallway, who was admonished.
12:59 p.m. — A caller from Main and Church streets reported a man looking in vehicles.
4:32 p.m. — Several callers from the Zion Street area reported smelling gas.
10:28 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Long Street reported a girl tearing things up.
