Grass Valley Police Department
11:27 a.m. — A woman from the 800 block of Annex Avenue was irate about a neighbor using a chainsaw. A second call was made at 2:48 p.m. Nothing was located. At 3:17 p.m., the woman reported the neighbor threatened her.
2:55 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mourning Dove Lane reported vandalism to a vehicle.
3:30 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a woman shoplifted and fled the store.
4:59 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported trying to detain a shoplifter. A man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and being drunk in public.
10:19 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a woman was trapped in a bedroom with her children by a man who possibly had some broken glass as a weapon. He was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.

8:06 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Gas Canyon Road reported a burglary overnight.
11:41 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Mercury Drive reported the theft of credit cards and other items from a vehicle.
1:34 p.m. — A woman from Lovas Court reported three pit bulls were loose and chased her.
3:14 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Silver Way reported a vehicle had been gone through during the night.
3:41 p.m. — A caller from Dolores Drive and Alta Street reported a man hiding in the bushes, who was admonished.
3:46 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Streeter Road reported a person shooting in a field; she spoke to them, and they were leaving.
4:23 p.m. — A caller from Carrie Ann Lane reported a physical fight between a man and a woman. The man then came at the caller with a crowbar. A report was taken.
5:29 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Penfold Place reported a pit bull just attacked her dog.
5:34 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Gold Hill Drive reported the theft of a purse.
7:55 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Mystic Mine Road reported an object was thrown against the side of the residence, possibly in retaliation for filing a vandalism charge against a neighbor.
8:39 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Tahoe View Drive reported a suspicious vehicle with two men, who possible had gone through three vehicles.

3:10 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a man drinking a large beer in front of a business, who could not be located.
5:05 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a man trying to start a fight, who was no longer there.
10:08 p.m. — A caller from Zion Street and Ridge Road reported a juvenile throwing rocks at vehicles, who could not be located.
