Police blotter: Man reports woman with ‘too much pot in her head’

9:15 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported vandalism and a break-in of the laundry room.
9:49 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Chapel Street reported the theft of registration, insurance cards and other items from an unlocked vehicle.
11:10 a.m. — A caller from the hospital reported a woman in a hospital gown who was on a mental health hold, was in the parking lot, evading security. She was returned to the emergency room.
1:10 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Defiant Way reported identity theft.
4:03 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Slate Creek Road reported a woman driving back and forth, honking and yelling for a man to come out. She was admonished.
7:11 p.m. — A caller reported a disabled man was being denied care by his family for a dog bite on his stomach. A report was taken.
6:42 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Mill Street reported a burglary to a vehicle.

8:43 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Cobblers Way reported someone trespassed on property and placed a sign on the side of the driveway.
9:53 a.m. — A caller from Nevada City Highway and Banner Lava Cap Road reported panhandlers jumping into traffic and causing a traffic hazard.
10:38 a.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported the theft of a wedding ring from a residence.
6:45 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Rattlesnake Road reported the theft of a half-cord of firewood.
6:50 p.m. — A man from the 24000 block of Oro Valley Road reported a woman was hysterical and had “too much pot in her head.” He called back to report she was leaving with a lot of marijuana after pushing him down the stairs. The situation was mediated.
7:56 p.m. — A man from the 17000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported being locked inside a mini storage facility.
8:20 p.m. — A caller from You Bet Road and Capitol Drive reported two large explosions.
8:38 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Orchard Springs Road reported a person shot a rifle from a vehicle twice.
9:43 p.m. — A man from the 22000 block of Oak Meadows Road reported being threatened with a hammer by a suspect, who then left.
10:11 p.m. — A caller from Lime Kiln and Wolf roads reported hearing four gunshots.
3:17 a.m. — A woman from the 20000 block of Selby Lane reported having been beaten by a man. He was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse and making criminal threats.

2:25 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Prospect Street reported a possible residential burglary; nothing was located.
2:47 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported a person refusing to leave. At 3:09 a.m., the caller reported the person was upstairs and had been let inside by people who were staying there. At 3:53 a.m., the caller reported the person was back, was angry and was cussing. A man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
3:52 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported a fight.
