Police Blotter: Man leads leashed dog behind car

8:17 a.m. — A caller from a business on the 900 block of Sutton Way reported that a guest's vehicle was broken into and was missing some items.
9:24 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Washington Street reported a vehicle was rolled out of the garage, possible as an attempted vehicle theft.
9:34 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a burglary of a vehicle in which foreign language learning compact disks were taken.
12:58 p.m. — A caller from a business on the 700 block of Sutton Way reported a theft.

1:53 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a man had a dog tied to his vehicle and was making the dog chase the car around the parking lot behind a business.
5:51 p.m. — A caller reported three males smoking marijuana and drinking in front of a business on the 100 block of Neal Street, and by doing so were running off customers.
5:59 p.m. — A caller from South Church Street reported a vehicle was stolen.
2:30 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sacramento Street reported several men in all black, with hoodies pulled over their heads and wearing ski masks, hiding in the bushes. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
2:53 a.m. — A caller from a business on the 700 block of Sutton Way reported a man took cigarettes and sodas. The caller said they were able retrieve the cigarettes, but not the sodas. Officers made contact with the individual and advised him not to return to the business.

9:40 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Meadow Drive and Oak Court reported a vehicle theft.
10:31 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Helling Way reported a subject stole her phone.
11:18 a.m. — A caller from the 11200 block of Hackett Court reported the theft of jewelry from what the elderly caller believed may be her caretaker.
1:33 p.m. — A caller from the 12400 block of Loma Rica Drive reported the theft of gas from a vehicle.
2:02 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Highway 174 and You Bet Road reported subjects throwing cans out of a Jeep, swerving and a passenger hanging out of the vehicle. The incident was relayed to the California Highway Patrol.
3:34 p.m. — A caller from the 13200 block of Simple Justice Road reported a burglary and theft of jewelry while the caller was on vacation.
4:05 p.m. — A caller from the 19200 block of Highway 174 reported the theft of a vehicle registration sticker.
5:26 p.m. — A caller from the 15800 block of Brewer Road reported the theft of mail.
9:41 p.m. — A caller from the 14100 block of Honeysuckle Way reported their residence was broken into while they were away on vacation. A handgun was reportedly stolen.
10:07 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Table Meadow and Combie roads reported a female outside a brown Dodge van was trying to pick fights with passersby.
12:07 a.m. — A caller on the 13700 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported her son was stealing her car. The California Highway Patrol tracked down the vehicle 20 minutes later and arrested the son and booked him into the county jail.

10:14 p.m. — A caller from Railroad Avenue reported the theft of prescription medications.
10:10 a.m. — A caller from Helling Way reported a girl hiding in the bushes because she said three people were after her.
1:13 p.m. — A caller on South Pine Street reported the theft of mail.
