Police Blotter: Lots of thefts, burglaries in Lake of the Pines

Grass Valley Police Department
6:27 a.m. — A caller on the 500 block of Morgan Ranch Drive reported an unknown individual turned the caller's water hose on last night and dropped a roll of tape in his front yard.
8:47 a.m. — A caller from Grass Valley City hall warned to expect a lot of water in the roadway because of a lot of flushing going on.
2:52 p.m. — A caller at a grocery store on the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported receiving a counterfeit $5 bill.
3:17 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported an identity theft.

3:20 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of two bicycles.
3:26 p.m. — A caller at a grocery store on the 800 block of Sutton Way reported that a transient, who had been asked to leave, had returned.
3:28 p.m. — A caller from the front lobby of the Grass Valley police station reported the theft of a phone at a bus stop on Tinloy Street.
5:55 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Main Street reported receiving a fraudulent call from an individual claiming to be from the electric company, requesting $1,400 to keep their electricity on. When confronted, the fraudster sexually harassed the caller.
6:41 p.m. — A caller at a business near the intersection of Gates Place and Nevada City Highway reported the theft of a wallet.

8:01 a.m. — A caller on the 22600 block of Sunset Ridge Drive reported his dog was attacked by a pit bull, requiring surgery, and requested animal control contact.
11:48 a.m. — A caller on the 12900 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle.
2:27 p.m. — A caller on the 19600 block of Valley Vista Way reported a burglary.
2:47 p.m. — A caller on the 11100 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported a vehicle hit a fire hydrant.
3:12 p.m. — A caller on the 11500 block of Highway 174 reported the theft of items from a tool shed.
5:19 p.m. — A caller on the 12900 block of Quaker Hill Cross Road reported a man bleeding from the head and face.
6:12 p.m. — A caller on the 12200 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported the theft of property from a garage.
6:14 p.m. — A caller at a school on the 11700 block of Ridge Road reported a burglary at a snack shack.
6:37 p.m. — A caller on the 10700 block of Ponderosa Way reported an attempted burglary of a residence.
8:10 p.m. — A caller on the 11300 block of Cedar Ridge Drive reported his neighbors are "planning mischief," hugging and kissing, and told the caller they do not like him. The caller was advised by dispatch that neighbors not liking him was not an appropriate reason to call 911. The caller said that one neighbor came to his house and beat on his walls with a broom stick.
8:54 p.m. — A caller near Hammonton Smartville and Chuck Yeager roads reported a bicyclist passed out in the roadway.
1:51 p.m. — A caller on the 11200 block of Red Dog Road reported two subjects attempting a burglary into his house.

8:04 p.m. — The California Highway Patrol advised about a male passed out in the roadway near Searls Avenue and Alley Street.
