Police blotter: Kidnap report unfounded

8:06 a.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported possible vandalism; no damage was located.
10:44 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Nevada City Highway reported two juveniles trying to break into cars.
11:54 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported a counterfeit bill.
1:09 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a physical fight between a man and a woman.
1:56 p.m. — A caller from East McKnight Way and La Barr Meadows Road reported a woman screaming and a man choking her in a black Mercedes. Other callers from South Auburn Street reported a woman screaming for help and breaking a window on the car. The man then took off after taking her money. A report was taken.
2:17 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of East Main Street reported vandalism to a front door window.
4:45 p.m. — A woman from South Auburn Street reported a physical fight with a man.
6:15 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported possible drug activity, and requested a welfare check on a 2-year-old girl.
7:04 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a woman shoplifter in custody.
7:21 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 700 block of Taylorville Road reported a group of juveniles walked out without paying their bill. Their parents were en route to pay.
7:48 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a man who throws rocks at children when they come near his vehicle; it was an ongoing issue and the children were advised to play in a different location.
11:02 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of East Main Street reported a man talking about scoping out motorcycles. He was moving on.
11:43 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of North Church Street reported fireworks.
2:18 a.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported a man stole a six-pack of beer.
3:56 a.m. — A caller from Butler and Brighton streets reported a man yelling and possibly kicking a door; no one was located.

10:22 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Del Mar Way reported identity theft.
10:47 a.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported someone locked her out and started trashing her belongings.
11:53 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Metz Ranch Road reported vandalism to a residence.
12:32 p.m. — A caller from Englebright Lake reported vandalism to a vehicle.
2:10 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Sunset Place reported someone took out a line of credit in her name.
2:12 p.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Metz Ranch Road reported juveniles just spray-painted the roadway.
3:06 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Wiggens Way reported receiving a bad check.
4:33 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Norlene Way reported fraud.
3:47 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Sontag Road reported burglaries in he neighborhood.
7:37 p.m. — A caller from Purdon Crossing reported someone started a fire and refused to put it out.
9:20 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Banner Quaker Hill Road reported seeing a person in a truck with a pit bull and a rifle, and then hearing a gunshot.
9:22 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Red Dog Road reported a woman vandalized a door.

9:15 a.m. — A caller from Broad Street reported fraud.
1:37 p.m. — A man from Broad Street reported his girlfriend was abducted yesterday at gunpoint and is being held against her will somewhere in Nevada City. The report was unfounded.
2:29 p.m. — A caller from Monroe Street reported a vehicle crashed into a fence, went down an embankment and four or five people fled the scene by getting into a second vehicle.
9:53 p.m. — A caller from Nevada Street reported a man gave the caller lip after being asked why he was in the caller's driveway.
10:03 p.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported four or five people on the roof of a business.
