Police blotter: Hitchhiker in blonde wig stole his car

6:47 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Brunswick Road reported two Canadian geese with goslings on the offramp. At 9:57 a.m., a caller reported the two geese on the highway. Another caller at 10:02 a.m. reported the geese have been hit. At 10:04 a.m., a caller reported the goslings were wandering on the highway without their parents. The goslings that were still alive were turned over to a rescue organization.
12:44 p.m. — A caller from Primrose Lane reported finding drug items.
1:32 p.m. — A caller from Bennett and East Main streets reported a man went through a hole in a fence to Wolf Creek. He was moving on.
1:33 p.m. — A caller reported a possible scam.
2:03 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Old Tunnel Road reported people in an apartment smoking marijuana all day.
2:12 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Maltman Drive reported a man smoking marijuana in front of a business; he was gone when an officer arrived.
2:39 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of West Main Street reported a juvenile assaulted another juvenile. The victim was taken to the hospital and the suspect was cited.
5:51 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of a racing bike. A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property and taking a bike without permission, as well as an outstanding warrant.
6:05 p.m. — A man from the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported a burglary to a truck.
8:34 p.m. — A woman from the 2500 block of Ryans reported find a back door open and someone possibly in the backyard. A report was taken.
11:08 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported the possible theft of a cell phone by a group of juveniles.
3 a.m. — A man from the 13000 block of Daisy Blue Mine Road reported he picked up a woman hitchhiking, went drinking with her, then let her drive his car. She then left with his vehicle while they were at a Nevada City market. She might have drugged him; she was last seen wearing a blonde wig with three different baseball caps. A report was taken.
5:50 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Idaho-Maryland Road reported major flooding.

8:03 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Meadow Drive reported a stolen Jeep.
8:14 a.m. — A caller from Spenceville Road and Devonshire Circle reported a man offering people marijuana to take him to his girlfriend’s house. He could not be located.
10:14 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Mule Canyon Road reported the theft of a tarp worth $1,000.
10:32 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Miners Way reported someone entered a barn and moved things around.
10:50 a.m. — A caller reported a physical fight. A report was taken for mutual combat.
12:22 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported a man stole a bottle of alcohol. Another caller reported a man loitering with an open bottle of rum. He was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and being drunk in public.
12:39 p.m. — A woman from Augustine and Cement Hill roads reported a dog attacked a boy; he was not injured.
1:53 p.m. — A caller from Lyman Gilmore School reported a drug issue; a juvenile was cited.
3:03 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile attacked another juvenile; the suspect was cited.
3:07 p.m. — A woman reported having been assaulted in the 14000 block of McCourtney Road by a person who grabbed her arm after she “cussed” at the person. No injury was reported.
5:57 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Park Avenue Extension reported a man had been standing outside for 30 minutes, approached some girls outside and asked if they wanted to play basketball with him. He then left.
10:21 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Butterfly Drive reported a “deranged” woman, possibly drunk, yelling and screaming. She had a knife and was holding an axe, and was in a nightgown. She was arrested on suspicion of violating probation.
11:43 p.m. — A caller from Chaparral and Jayhawk drives reported a hit and run suspect refusing to exit a vehicle. His pants were down around his ankles. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run, resisting arrest, vandalism and a license requirement charge.
5:52 a.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Brunswick Road reported flooding.
6:18 a.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Laws Ranch Cross Road reported flooding.

9:30 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a man urinating on the side of the building. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
