Police blotter: Guns, sticks, knives reported

Grass Valley Police Department
8:33 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Ophir Street reported a former roommate broke into the apartment, then left. She called back at 10:35 a.m. to report he was in the bathroom. A civil standby was conducted.
9:53 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Brighton Street reported a runaway juvenile; a BOLO was issued.
10:41 a.m. — A caller from South Church and Neal streets reported the tires had been slashed on a vehicle, and the windows were broken.
2:43 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a possibly physical fight, with a girl trying to grab the phone and biting the caller. She was arrested and booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of battery.
3:35 p.m. — A man from the 1300 block of East Main Street reported two men threatening him with a pistol. He said a man and a woman were in a business parking lot and looked at him funny before leaving, then the man returned with another man. He said the man had his hand in his pants pocket and might have been holding a gun. The area was checked and nothing was found.
3:38 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Bennett Street reported a man with a large stick who was trying to instigate a fight and who then was lying on the sidewalk, talking to himself. The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
4:04 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of East Main Street reported four men in a vehicle smoking marijuana, who could not be located.
5:04 p.m. — A man from East Main Street and Dorsey Drive reported a man threatened him with a knife. The man was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats.
6:31 p.m. — A caller from Idaho-Maryland Road and Sutton Way reported a vehicle went into the bushes. A person was arrested on unknown charges.
8:25 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported an extremely drunken woman left the ER; she was located and returned to the hospital.
9:49 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported the theft of about $100 worth of items from a cooler.
10:14 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of East Main Street reported a vehicle doing doughnuts in the parking lot. A juvenile was picked up by a parent.
12:09 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported seeing flashlights; no one was located.

10:11 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported vandalism to a vehicle.
11:36 a.m. — A woman from the 17000 block of Maple Way reported a Lab killed a chicken.
2:17 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Brunswick Road reported three men seeping on private property.
5:37 p.m. — A caller from Deer Creek and Mooney Flat roads reported a person in a vehicle fired three or four gunshots before driving away.
9:40 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Commercial Avenue reported the attempted burglary of a vehicle.
11:43 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Nevada City Highway reported people with flashlights throwing items at her property.
