Police Blotter: False plates avoid repossession, $40 head butt

Tuesday — 60 calls for service
9:55 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported a man sleeping on the third floor of the business. He was admonished.
12:54 p.m. — A man reported being assaulted in Memorial Park.
2:43 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of East Main Street reported a man ran through the business and was punching plants. He was advised not to return.
3:07 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported an assault. A man reportedly demanded $40 from him, head-butted him, took his money and ran. He was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

5:15 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Morgan Ranch Drive reported a person shooting a gun into a backyard.
6:05 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of North Church Street reported a man trying to open windows. A man was advised against trespassing.
9:31 p.m. — A caller from East Main Street reported a man in black standing in the middle of the road. No one was located. A similar call was made from Empire Street at 10:12 p.m. A woman was located and was OK.

8:50 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Sun Forest Drive reported a buck stuck in a hammock. It was freed.
12:07 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Names Drive reported a person checking mailboxes. No one was located.
3:21 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of McCourtney Road reported the theft of food, clothing and a bike. It was found to be a civil issue.
3:47 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported vandalism to a screen door.
3:50 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Woodbury Drive reported a man had put false plates on his vehicle to avoid repossession.
4:16 p.m. — A woman from Duggans Road reported a home invasion with a person stealing her miniature collection and clothes. She said the person has a device that had something to do with virtual reality; she then said there were six suspects driving a yellow tractor. A welfare check was conducted.
4:51 p.m. — A caller from Connie Drive reported a man who made a heavy pipe weapon and who walks the streets looking for people who are after him. He is up all night and not sleeping.
5:46 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Highway 174 reported the theft of mail.
6:19 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Beaver Drive reported the theft of firewood.
10 p.m. — A woman from the 18000 block of Biladeau Lane reported a person destroyed her plants.
2:24 a.m. — A woman from Chickadee Court reported her husband pushed her down. Adult Protective Services was notified.
6:54 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Pegasus Place reported a man passed out in the bushes.

11:03 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Silva Avenue reported three aggressive dogs.
4:20 p.m. — A caller reported four people smoking drugs on Nimrod Street.
6:09 p.m. — A caller from South Pine and Spring streets reported a man took a scone and started eating it without paying. He was cited and released.
10:43 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and West Broad Street reported a fire that had been intentionally set by people in a truck.
