Wednesday — 72 calls for service
9:35 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Bennett Street reported a drunken person in a jumpsuit and a robe, walking a Chihuahua. The person was not drunk in public.
9:36 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of East Main Street requested extra patrols due to heavy foot traffic behind the building at night.
10:05 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported possible shoplifting. One person was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
11:35 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a man sleeping in a vestibule. He agreed to move on.

11:56 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Crown Point Circle reported illegal dumping.
2:56 p.m. — A juvenile was stopped on Hughes Road and cited for multiple traffic violations, including driving other passengers on a restricted license. The passengers were sent home on foot.
6:46 p.m. — A caller from the 1100 block of Sutton Way reported a possible shoplifter; the products were found in a different aisle and the suspects were admonished.
8:21 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported a man bathing with a hose. He had been washing his recyclables.

9 a.m. — A man from Indian Springs Road and Pilot Peak Lane reported mailboxes had been opened, and he believed mail had been stolen.
9:11 a.m. — A caller from Pleasant Valley Road reported a juvenile with drugs at school.
9:38 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Sages Road reported a person cut a lock off a gate.
9:39 a.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a prior tenant stole items yesterday, and someone stole a laptop last night while she was sleeping.
11:01 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Tom Ray Drive reported a possible squatter.
