Police blotter: Caller complains about profanity-spewing pianist

10:13 a.m. — A man from the 800 block of East Main Street reported the theft of a backpack.
11:49 a.m. — A caller reported the an EBT card that had been lost in April had been used in Grass Valley in May.
11:52 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Alta Street reported the theft of a bag of food, registration and proof of insurance from an unlocked vehicle.
12:02 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Race Street reported identity theft.
1:42 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported a family panhandling with a child; a person was cited.
2:14 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported the theft of jewelry.
6:43 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sutton Way reported a man lying on the ground, screaming, acting like he is hiding from a fire. He was arrested on suspicion of violating probation and possessing drug paraphernalia.
10:47 p.m. — A caller from an undisclosed location reported two people with no clothes on were in a hot tub, committing lewd acts. No crime was found.
12:11 a.m. — A caller from Race and South Auburn streets reported a fight involving a very drunken man; 12 people were trying to stop him from running into a room. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

9:03 a.m. — A woman from the 14000 block of Highland Drive reported the fraudulent use of a debit card and identity theft.
10:08 a.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Green Valley Road reported receiving a very suspicious scam phone call.
12:22 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Commercial Avenue reported possible child abuse.
12:47 p.m. — A caller from Cedar and Suzanne ways reported a neighbor yelling profanities and playing the piano very loudly. It was quiet when a deputy arrived.
2:58 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive reported finding multiple dead squirrels.
3:46 p.m. — A woman reported someone posted her phone number on Craigslist, on an ad offering sexual favors.
4 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Pine Hill Drive reported her house was entered through the bedroom window and a TV was missing.
4:08 p.m. — A caller from Red Dog and Banner Quaker Hill roads reported several people riding off-road motorcycles, not wearing helmets and driving in excess of 60 mph.
5:33 p.m. — A caller reported that a cellphone was stolen from Bear River High School.
5:50 p.m. — A man reported his cellphone was stolen from Western Gateway Park.
7:18 p.m. — A man from Clover Leaf Court reported a woman tried to push him down the stairs and then strangled him before leaving.
7:51 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Smith Road reported a man dressed all in black was walking down the road with a long gun. It was an AirSoft rifle.
9:54 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported a man was drunk and screaming; he agreed to keep it down.
10:01 p.m. — A caller reported that a woman was saying she was suicidal because no one would bring her alcohol. She was OK.
12:05 a.m. — A caller from a business in he 13000 block of Highway 49 reported a man who was upset about charges punched a wall and a window. No damage was reported.
4:40 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Red Dog Road reported a stolen vehicle.
5:59 a.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Gopher Lane reported a fight with a person screaming and spitting on other people.

11:10 p.m. — A man was arrested in the 200 block of Commercial Street on suspicion of being drunk in public.
