9:39 a.m. — Two men were reported smoking marijuana behind the dumpster of an abandoned store.
10:53 a.m. — A business on Maltman Drive advised that someone caught with a stolen flute and guitar had allegedly tried to sell them the previous day.
1:43 p.m. — A man went to the police department to report his dog stolen.
8:21 p.m. — A business on West Berryhill Drive reported that someone stole wallets and a money box, as well as items from another business located upstairs.
9:27 p.m. — A theft was reported at a business on the 100 block of West McKnight Way.
10:45 p.m. — A man from the 100 block of South Church Street reported that a truck, and the landscaping trailer attached to it, were stolen.
7:09 a.m. — A truck window was broken into overnight in a parking lot on the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway.
9:53 a.m. — A caller reported that his limousine was stolen from the hospital. The vehicle was later found locked and secured on site.
11:56 a.m. — A business on the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of a vaporizer two days prior.
1:08 p.m. — A business on the 700 block of Sutton Way reported a man for "selling rugs in the parking lot." Officers moved him along after finding that he did not have a permit.
2:19 p.m. — A business on the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported that a man insulted the cashier, then started "ranting about capitalism" while swearing and seeming aggressive.
2:51 p.m. — A business on the 600 block of Sutton Way reported that someone abandoned a crate of bunnies on the sales counter. One of the three bunnies was given away to a customer, and the other three went to animal control.
5:38 p.m. — An apartment complex on the 300 block of Mill Street asked officers to pick up a "large amount of marijuana left by former tenant."
7 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of South Church Street reported that a man threw his keys into a locked trash can.
9:11 p.m. — A woman on the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported that her ex boyfriend kidnapped her juvenile son.

11:01 a.m. — A caller on the 28000 block of Sweetland Road surrendered a pistol found on her property.
11:56 a.m. — A 911 caller in the vicinity of Auburn Road and Kiwi Road reported a single gun shot followed by yelling.
12:14 p.m. — A travel trailer was reported stolen on the 10000 block of Harmony Lane.
3:36 p.m. — A flock of sheep was reported in the roadway near Highway 49 and Reader Ranch Road.
4:30 p.m. — A caller on the 17000 block of Pioneer Way reported that his neighbor built a fence on his property.
7:51 p.m. — A vehicle rollover was reported near American hill Road and Old Downieville Highway.
9:33 p.m. — A caller on the 16000 block of Indian Flat Road reported that a female subject was at his home after being beaten up by an unknown assailant.
3:38 a.m. — An out-of-town caller reportedly got a text message from the house sitter, indicating that a home on the 16000 block of American Hill Road was being invaded.
10:10 a.m. — A business on Combie Road reported that a man came in requesting oxycontin without a prescription. When the request was denied, he reportedly told an employee that he had a gun. No gun was produced, and the suspect left the area at roughly 9:50 a.m.
2:50 p.m. — A caller on the 15000 block of Bitney Springs Road reported the theft of 18 solar panels from a rental property.
5:46 p.m. — A 911 caller at a business on the 16000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported that a female subject was inside the business, claiming that her boyfriend had just threatened her with a knife.
6:45 p.m. — A caller on the 10000 block of Sauer Lane reported the theft of money by his adult son.
7:31 p.m. — A caller on the 11000 block of Ball Road reported hearing an explosion, followed by large flames at his neighbor's house and a subject on fire running off the deck.
7:38 p.m. — A caller on the 11000 block of Black Road reported the theft of stereo equipment valued at $5,000.
8:04 p.m. — An off-duty officer reported finding an intoxicated man and his dog, sleeping it off under a tree on the 16000 block of Penn Valley Drive.
1:04 a.m. — A caller on the 14000 block of Penn Road reported a prowler jiggling the doorknob.
5:13 a.m. — A caller on the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported that items were stolen from a swap-meet booth.
7:49 a.m. A caller on the 12000 block of Brem Lane found a vehicle that was abandoned, possibly after a pursuit, with both plates missing.
9:28 a.m. — A caller on the 17000 block of Patterson Mine Road reported that her neighbor was trespassing with a tractor, illegally grading a road on her property and possibly destroying a fence.
