Nevada County Police Blotter: Man ready to fight demands officer respond and stop him

10:20 a.m. — A caller in the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man in a 1990s Ford Explorer wearing a skull mask and brandishing a knife. The suspect was last seen on Brunswick Road, driving toward Highway 49.

10:45 a.m. — A caller in the 300 block of Northstar Place reported the overnight theft of a 1988 black Toyota 4Runner.

3:26 p.m. — A caller in the 500 block of Factory Street reported two men were threatening to fight each other. At some point one of the men grabbed the caller's phone and demanded police respond, saying an officer was needed to stop him from fighting.

4:53 p.m. — A caller in the 100 block of Bank Street reported the theft of a hotel's reservation book by a transient.
