Nevada County blotter: Surveillance footage shows suspect taking pictures up woman’s skirt

Friday

9:25 a.m. — A caller in the 22000 block of Kingston Lane reported a break-in overnight. Windows were broken in three rooms.

11:40 a.m. — Dispatchers state that a marijuana ordinance compliance check occurred in the 10000 block of Lime Kiln Road.

1:03 p.m. — A caller in the 10000 block of Carey Drive reported that an ex-boyfriend had stolen fabric from a workshop and items from her booth at a festival.

3:41 p.m. — A caller in the 11000 block of Lakeshore North reported that an older man assaulted her son. The suspect grabbed her son and threatened to beat him.

4:48 p.m. — A caller in the 2000 block of Ridge Road reported an open sewer in the air causing a smell.

10:56 p.m. — A caller at Cedar Avenue and Squirrel Creek Road reported an unstable woman lying in the road.

11:13 p.m. — A caller in the 10000 block of Goodenough Court reported four shots fired.

12:56 a.m. — A caller at McCourtney and Wolf Mountain roads reported that her friend was walking in the middle of the street. She refused to leave the road.

11:03 a.m. — A caller in the 14000 block of South Ponderosa Way reported a burglary and vandalism that happened over the past few days.

3:16 p.m. — A caller in the 16000 block of Highway 174 reported a burglary. Someone had entered several vehicles. Items from a home were missing.

6:24 p.m. — A caller in the 18000 block of Cozy Grove Court reported that an ex-boyfriend stole her dog. The suspect then threatened her and her new boyfriend.

7:46 p.m. — A caller at Ballantree Lane and McCourtney Road reported people fighting in the middle of the road.

10:21 a.m. — A caller in the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a man following her and taking an inappropriate picture of her. A store owner said the suspect was seen on surveillance footage taking photos up the caller's skirt at least twice.

11:44 a.m. — A caller at Neal and South Church streets spotted a friend's vehicle in the area, and realized the driver wasn't his friend. The vehicle, taken from East Main Street, is described as a 2005 white Ford Focus.

12:31 p.m. — A caller at South Auburn and Bank streets reported the windows in her 1997 Jeep Cherokee had been smashed.

8:24 p.m. — A caller in the 1200 block of Sutton Way reported someone sleeping in a vehicle for the past several nights. The person, who'd used drugs, refused to leave.

9:32 p.m. — A caller in the 100 block of West Main Street reported someone on top of a building throwing rotten eggs at people and vehicles.

7:23 a.m. — A caller in the 1000 block of Plaza Drive reported a transient who refused to leave a business.

10:58 a.m. — A caller at Kidder Avenue and Maryland Drive reported a man who jumped out of a tree holding a knife.

2:28 p.m. — A caller in the 300 block of South Church Street reported a sewer spill.

8:01 p.m. — A caller in the 100 block of Glasson Way reported someone in the emergency room becoming aggressive and swinging his arms.

8:57 p.m. — A caller in the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported that a female transient spit in his face. He then punched the woman in the face.
