It’s been 25 years for Empire Toastmasters

Empire Toastmasters Club is celebrating its 25-year anniversary noon to 1:30 p.m., March 14, with a party and luncheon catered by Summer Thymes Bakery. The celebration will take place at the Nevada County Contractors Association office, located at 149 Crown Point Court in the Event Room.
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization for the development of communication and leadership skills worldwide and is currently in 116 countries. Started in October 1924, Toastmasters has helped more than 3 million people benefit from the organization's goal to provide communication and leadership improvement. This is done through learning manuals, practice at local clubs, competitions and educational opportunities.
Empire Toastmasters' celebration will honor the club's founding members, coaches, past and present members and commemorate the organization's 25 years of producing leaders in our community.
Former club members and anyone interested in learning about Toastmasters are welcome to attend. Please RSVP for the event online at http://www.tinyurl.com/k4lmxoh by Monday, March 10. Lunch is $16 and can be purchased online at the aforementioned site or by check, payable to Jerri Glover, and mailed to 578 Sutton Way, PMB 134, Grass Valley, CA 95945. Payment must be received by March 10. Purchase of lunch is not necessary to attend.
