Maddie Phelps, a 2012 Bear River graduate, had two impressive outings in the pitcher’s circle Saturday as Sierra College took beat Santa Rosa College twice. Phelps pitched a complete game in a 7 - 4 victory yielding seven hits, one walk, three earned runs and struck out two as she won her first Big 8 Conference game to improve her record to 6 – 1 on the season.
