Eva Hathorne sponsored obituary
November 16, 2006
Eva Grace Hathorne, 9/21/87-11/12/06, daughter of Jim Hathorne and Linda Menge, went to heaven Sunday morning after a well fought year-long battle with angiosarcoma cancer. Eva just celebrated her 19th birthday.
Eva loved so much and so many. When she was little she delighted in baby pigs jumping all over her, and bees swarming around her. She loved nature and the beauty God made for us.
As she got older, she realized the gift of voice God gave her and loved to sing. Eva went to Clear Creek Elementary and loved all of her teachers there. She attended Lyman Gilmore and was given great care in her education and delighted in Ms. Trapani’s choir classes. Bear River High School allowed her to blossom as she found life long dear friends: Nicole, Derek, and Sam. Her high school choir years were the highlight of her life.
She loved Anime, and the Japanese Culture and after her graduation from Bear River in June this year, was able to go to Japan for three weeks.
Eva was diagnosed with a fatal cancer in December, 2005. We were blessed to have her for 9 months more than we were supposed to.
Eva is missed so much by her friends and family. Her parents Jim and Linda, and stepfather Steve. Her brothers Noah, Gabe and Joey and her sisters Ashley and Sarah. Her grandmothers Virginia, and Elena. Her aunts: Donna, Juanita, Ramona,
