Don’t ignore winter soldiers
March 27, 2008
While those of us against the Iraq war are told to be silent because our sentiments “do not support the troops,” the stories of the Winter Soldiers fall on the corporate media’s deaf ears.
The Winter Soldiers are the brave men and women who have fought in Iraq and are now telling their stories of what they saw and did. To ignore these soldiers because their experiences tell us a different story than what we’d like to believe or hear in the media is doing them a grave injustice and is censorship resembling a fascist state.
Anyone who supports this war has a duty to listen to the Winter Soldiers. The media has an obligation to let their voices be heard.
