Police blotter: What does the fox say?

6:41 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Whispering Pines Lane reported several work trucks had been broken into over the weekend, with a side window popped out and a stereo taken.
8:38 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of South Auburn Street reported a woman beating her child. The mother had been struggling to put the child in a car seat.
12:32 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of West Main Street reported finding a bullet hole in her front window. It was a hole from a BB or pellet gun.
1:33 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a person tried to steal a cart full of items; the person was cited.
1:35 p.m. — A man from the 200 block of Maiden Lane reported someone possibly accessing his accounts.
2:17 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Collins Lane reported her car was open and items were strewn around the interior.
2:26 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a man yelling and throwing things; he could not be located.
4:11 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported an elderly man trying to wire a large sum of money in a possible scam.
5:03 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Whispering Pines Lane reported two men and a woman in a vehicle possibly casing the area. A second call was made at 8:28 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
5:04 p.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of East Main Street reported the theft of a cell phone.
5:51 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a PG&E scam.
2:02 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported neighbors banging on the common wall. The neighbor was advised of the noise ordinance.
2:04 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Celesta Drive reported a white SUV with two people inside that had been parked outside for 15 minutes or more. Two juveniles were contacted and admitted to having moved a parent's vehicle out of the driveway. The parent was contacted and took the juveniles inside. At 3:30 a.m., a juvenile called from the 100 block of Celesta Drive and said he had been fighting with his father and was bleeding. An area check was conducted for a 15-year-old driving a white Xterra. The juvenile was cited for being an unlicensed driver and the vehicle was released to the registered owner. The two juveniles were later linked to a burglary at a school and booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and criminal conspiracy.

10:07 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Lower Colfax Road reported a sick fox shaking its head back and forth.
10:11 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Poplar Road reported Internet fraud.
10:29 a.m. — A caller from the fairgrounds reported a man hitting trees, chugging beers and causing a nuisance at the pond. The man was arrested on suspicion of outstanding warrants.
12:59 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Morningside Way reported a theft.
2:44 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Black Forest Road reported finding an open safe on private property that looked as if it had been broken into.
3:03 p.m. — A caller reported "fraud and conspiracy of threats."
4 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported that three boys planned and attacked another boy. No medical attention was needed.
6:24 p.m. — A caller from East Bennett and Greenhorn roads reported people living in a camper, with trash strewn around. They were moving on.

9:34 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Gold Flat Road reported the theft of an electrical construction cord.
11:06 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Spring Street reported a fraud.
8:08 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Hollow Way reported a man hiding in the bushes who keeps coming out to harass people for cigarettes and money.
1:24 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported a fight; the victim declined to press charges.
