Nevada County Police Blotter: ‘Hoodlum’ juveniles seen wearing ‘teenage clothing’

8:10 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported theft of items from an unlocked vehicle during the night.
9:30 a.m. — A caller near the corner of West Berryhill Drive and East Main Street reported an aggressive parent at her bus stop that keeps picking up rocks to throw at speeders in the area.
10:51 a.m. — A caller near the corner of Picadilly Lane and Freeman Lane reported she hit a pole in a housing development. The caller sounded like she had possibly been drinking and couldn't describe where she was. The caller said a bee flew in her car and she jumped out of the vehicle and it rolled into a pole.
3:16 p.m. — A caller near the corner of Colfax Avenue and Neal Street reported a man walking on the street yelling obscenities.

4:12 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Old Tunnel Road reported the granddaughter of a former tenant went into the new tenant's apartment. Nothing appeared to have been taken. An arrest was made on charges of child cruelty.
6:07 p.m. — A caller from the 1300 block of East Main Street reported three male "hoodlum" juveniles that appeared to have been casing a business. The subjects were peering in windows and wearing "teenage clothing."

10:23 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Pine Court reported her neighbor taking down a tree that was making her house shake.
10:24 a.m. — A caller wanted phone numbers and had no emergency. The caller was advised to call 411 and was advised of 911 usage.
12:55 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Wolf Road reported two females and three males gardening across the street and the females were topless and their dresses were too short and not covering anything. They agreed to put shirts on.
2:33 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Brewer Road reported a man taking pictures of the caller's children when they got out of her vehicle. The caller chased him off.
3:21 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Little Deer Drive and Highway 49 reported a cow on the shoulder that appeared that it may wander into the highway. The cow was gone when officers arrived.
5:18 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of View Drive reported her adult grandson kicked over a coke can after an argument over him not cleaning his room.
2 a.m. — A caller from Tall Tree Road reported a 5-year-old missing and they'd been searching for 20 minutes. Another caller at 2:07 a.m. reported a small child lying in the bushes. The juvenile was located.

2:16 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 reported hearing someone outside screaming for help. Also dogs were heard barking.
4:44 p.m. — A caller from Railroad Avenue reported theft from an unlocked vehicle that occurred overnight.
11:59 p.m. — A person was stopped on the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway and arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
3:07 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported someone falling down in the street. The person was not wearing a shirt, shouting about how drunk he was and falling off his bike. An arrest was made on charges of public intoxication.
