Naked man knocking on door in police logs

Friday

6:04 a.m. — A caller at a beauty store on the 700 block of Freeman Lane reported a burglary.

2:35 p.m. — A caller on the 400 block of Central Avenue reported two men and two women just dumped a Christmas tree in the caller’s yard. When the caller yelled at the individuals, the four picked up the tree and dumped it in Memorial Park instead.

3:36 p.m. — A caller at a grocery store on the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a theft of groceries.

4:10 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of South School Street reported the theft of two bicycles.

9:21 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Ophir Street reported her daughter stole her puppy from her this morning.

9:21 p.m. — A caller near the intersection f Brunswick Road and Whispering Pines Lane reported his friend kicked him in the head several times and broke his back window.

11:22 p.m. — A caller at a convenience store on the 100 block of Hughes Road reported an attempted theft.

Saturday

4:49 a.m. — The GVPD requested agency assistance from the sheriff’s office regarding a missing patient from a medical facility on the 100 block of Catherine Lane.

8:55 a.m. — A caller at a gas station near the intersection of East Main Street and Idaho Maryland Road reported finding a methamphetamine pipe.

1:38 p.m. — A caller at a hotel on the 100 block of Bank Street reported the theft of a stereo from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot.

Friday

11:02 a.m. — A caller on the 10700 block of Pine Hill Drive reported a possibly stolen purse.

2:44 p.m. — A caller on the 11700 block of Creek View Drive reported a burglary that occurred within the last few weeks.

4:57 p.m. — A caller on the 10700 block of Chalk Bluff Road reported a burglary in progress.

6:02 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Mooney Flat Road and Highway 20 reported a vehicle hit a cow, and the occupants of the vehicle were injured.

8:12 p.m. — A caller on the 14700 block of Nutmeg Court requested assistance from the fire department to get a cat out of a tree. When the caller was told the fire department does not respond to that kind of incident, the caller demanded that the fire department respond. The caller was transferred to the fire department.

Saturday

10:36 a.m. — A caller on the 12100 block of Sunny Slope reported that their wife took items out of the house, threw them on the front porch and poured bleach on them.

12 p.m. — A caller at a restaurant on the 10000 block of Combie Road reported people in a truck were doing whippets and then pulled out at a high rate of speed heading southbound on Highway 49.

4:59 p.m. — A caller at Putt Lake reported two individuals fell through the ice on a lake — a father and son. However, as the caller was talking to the dispatchers, a ladder was located and the two people were extricated from the water. Response was denied, as was medical treatment.

9:34 p.m. — A caller on the 10500 block of Wolf Road reported a naked man knocking at the door who hid in the bushes every time a vehicle drove by.

The Nevada City Police Department did not provide activity logs.
