Police Blotter: Multiple gun shots and burglaries


Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Friday

8:36 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Hidden Valley Road reported a disoriented person taking refuge in nearby bushes.

10:36 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Brunswick Road reported being told by a neighbor that an unoccupied parcel of land owned by the caller has at least 35 transients living on it.

11:32 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Annie Drive reported that his mother stole 18 painkillers that morning.

12:29 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Ridge Road reported being stalked.

2:44 p.m. — A caller from the intersection of Floral Road and Palm Court reported being thrown off of a horse after a high-powered rifle was fired in the area.

3:10 p.m. — A caller from the Diamond Arrow Campground reported multiple shots fired.

4:30 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Newtown road reported security cameras being routinely disabled.

4:59 p.m. — A caller from Greenhorn Road reported hearing several gunshots fired on his property.

7:48 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Annie Drive reported a man who attempted to steal his father’s identity attempted to assault him.

10:19 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Madrone Forest Drive reported coming home to find his house burglarized. The caller reported the house was in shambles, and wine, jewelry and televisions were missing.

Saturday

3:34 a.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Shadow Drive reported two GoPro cameras, two cell phones and additional equipment stolen from a locked vehicle.

9:08 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Oak Ridge Road reported a person from Wisconsin placed a phone call to her residence to state he was buying a ticket to California so he could burn down the caller’s house.

10:09 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Marion Way reported the theft of jewelry from a residence.

3:03 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Linnet Court reported the theft of credit cards and a Social Security card.

4:17 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported the theft of a car stereo.

5:39 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Plaza Drive reported her manager at a business was confronted by a transient in an aggressive manner.

10:32 p.m. — A caller from Red Dog Road reported being bitten by a border collie.

Logs were not available from The Nevada City and Grass Valley police departments.
