Police blotter: You say you want a revolution


Grass Valley Police Department

Friday

11:04 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Maryland Drive reported a man assaulted her. He was arrested for battery of a spouse and violating probation.

12:44 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Park Avenue requested a juvenile be cited for having a knife and another juvenile be cited for cigarettes.

12:49 p.m. — A caller from Elisabeth Daniels Park reported eight people drinking alcohol; one was cited on suspicion of having an open container.

2:15 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man passed out in the parking lot. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

4:20 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter in custody.

7:25 p.m. — A caller from the 1300 block of East Main Street reported a woman making people uncomfortable, whose face was covered in lipstick and who was wearing her shoes on the wrong feet. She could not be located.

9:38 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported a transient had been sleeping on the back porch of the Boy Scout lodge. He was arrested on a warrant.

Saturday

1:41 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a shoplifter; no charges were desired.

2:22 a.m. — A man from Mill and Neal streets reported he was jumped from some men from out of town; no medical attention was needed.

10:17 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Mill Street reported a residential burglary.

11:06 a.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of Segsworth Way reported a stolen Honda Accord.

11:42 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter, who was cited.

11:57 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Donald Avenue reported a verbal argument. He later reported having been pepper-sprayed in the leg.

1:20 p.m. — caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter took a phone charger.

1:26 p.m. — A man reported a man on North Auburn and Richardson streets came at him with a crowbar, and then came at him later in his vehicle.

1:43 p.m. — A man from Primrose Lane reported three couple having sex in the open, who could not be located.

2:45 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a man committing lewd and lascivious acts and exposing himself to children.

2:56 p.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of Segsworth Way reported a heavy smell of marijuana.

4:37 p.m. — A caller from Old Tunnel and Brunswick roads reported a physical fight between a man and a woman. She was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possessing drug paraphernalia.

4:50 p.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of East Main Street reported a man and a girl in the bushes, taking items up a trail.

7:06 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter, who was cited.

9:43 p.m. — A man from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported being harassed by a 10-year-old boy, who is claiming his son stole two Pokemon cards from him.

Sunday

1:08 a.m. — A caller from Northstar Place reported a customer fled without paying cab fare.

4:27 p.m. — A man reported his vehicle was shot at with a BB gun on Ridge and Upper Slate Creek roads.

4:36 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of East Maryland Drive reported a man trespassed by climbing a fence; he could not be located.

6:33 p.m. — A caller from Oak Street and Central Avenue reported juveniles were disrespecting people.

6:35 p.m. — A woman from Doris Drive reported an extremely intoxicated man was trespassing in her yard.

6:53 p.m. — A caller reported a possible scam.

10:53 p.m. — A man from Primrose Lane reported people wearing camo, hiding in the bushes, talking about drugs; he said there also was a marijuana grow.

11:51 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Berryhill Drive reported drug deals in the parking lot; nothing was located.

8:53 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Misty Winds Lane reported a person shooting quail and squirrels in an unsafe manner.

10:27 a.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Lone Pine Drive reported a fraud.

11:10 a.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Buckboard Road reported fraud.

11:37 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Street reported the theft of a firearm and chainsaw from a vehicle and a shop behind a residence.

1:11 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Wolf Drive reported a verbal argument with another person who could be heard screaming “revolution” in the background.

1:11 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Lime Kiln Road reported a woman harvesting marijuana near a girl. No crime was found to have occurred.

1:14 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Vista Drive reported a loud gunshot or explosion last night.

10:31 p.m. — A man from the 16000 block of Oscar Drive reported someone pointing a laser into a residence.

Monday

12:19 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Skyland Road reported a residential burglary and instruments and a computer taken.

7:53 a.m. — A caller from Shana and Patricia ways reported a woman had tried to hit the caller with her vehicle on three separate occasions at the bus stop.
