11:30 a.m. — A caller from West Empire and Whiting streets reported a possible physical disturbance on a bus; it was found to be a verbal dispute.
11:44 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a drunken person hit a vehicle and was refusing to exchange information. A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
12:06 p.m. — A woman from the 300 block of West Main Street reported possible financial elder abuse. An elderly woman had moved money into an account and did not remember having done so; no elder abuse was found.
12:40 p.m. — A caller from Sutton Way reported a man sitting in front of a store with a 4- or 5-year-old child, making sexual statements and referencing the child. He could not be located.
3:52 p.m. — A caller reported juveniles had been out of control and thrashed a vehicle before leaving.
4:35 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Church Street reported a man passed out in the parking lot; he was moving on.
4:58 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a man stole carpet cleaner and fled.
5:31 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a couple asked the caller to watch their puppy and now could not be located. The dog was picked up and taken to the animal shelter.
6:08 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of East Main Street reported a woman stole clothing and fled. An employee retrieved the merchandise; the suspect could not be located.
6:52 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of East Main Street reported a possible burglary to a business.

10:21 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Richardson Street reported his dog chased a man out of his yard.

10:43 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Butler Street reported people running up and down the street yelling. No one was located.
11:17 p.m. — A caller from Pleasant and Walsh streets reported a woman screaming for help and asking a man not to hit her; they could not be located.

9:15 a.m. — A woman reported her son had been assaulted at Nevada Union High School yesterday. The situation was mediated.
12:29 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Keson Place reported the theft of a garden hose and garden tools. Extra patrols were requested.
4:18 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported ongoing domestic violence. A CPS referral was made.
4:46 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Skylark Court reported a man was standing in front of a vehicle and refusing to move. He then took a rock, threatened to break the window and got in the vehicle, then took the vehicle keys. The situation was mediated and the woman was leaving.
6:15 p.m. — A caller from Nevada Union High School reported the theft of a tablet computer.
6:19 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Heigen Court reported receiving a strange package with a strong chemical smell. It was found to be incense.
7:56 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of La Barr Meadows Road reported a man burglarized a residence.
9:03 p.m. — Multiple callers reported shots fired in the Valley View and Idaho-Maryland roads area. Nothing was located.
6:30 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Loma Rica Drive reported a large black bear eating out of a dumpster; the mother bear and two cubs then left the scene.
