Men howl on trucks, kick parking meters in Police Blotter

Friday

9:11 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a man atop a furniture business’ truck, screaming and howling like a wolf.

11:28 a.m. — A caller at a cooperative food store on the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported a shoplifter in custody.

5:49 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a woman trying to break into her apartment, kicking the front door.

9:29 p.m. — A caller on Denver Lane reported a prowler on the front porch attempted to get into the residence.

1:42 a.m. — A caller at a grocery store on the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported a theft.

8:43 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of South Church Street reported the theft of a cell phone and jewelry, claiming a net worth of $15,000.

10:30 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Hughes Road reported the theft of registration tags from a vehicle.

11:26 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Holbrooke Way reported their neighbor crashed into the caller’s garage.

3:47 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Sutton Way reported that his sister’s boyfriend threw a water bottle at the caller and threatened to shoot him. The caller said he had a knife.

5:41 p.m. — A caller at a restaurant on the 100 block of East Main Street reported seeing four individuals vomiting outside.

8:38 a.m. — A caller on the 10500 block of Cole Way reported an abandoned bicycle that had not been moved in more than three days.

11:39 a.m. — A caller on the 23400 block of Wayfarer Court reported that a dog attacked and killed two rabbits and injured a third.

3:17 p.m. — A beat officer in the area of 14500 block of Little Hill Lane was provided with advance indication of a plan for a Native American Prayer that would occur at sunrise.

3:31 p.m. — A caller on the 15400 block of Carrie Drive reported a burglary.

5:31 p.m. — A caller on the 10000 block of Braemar Way reported that a young man showed up at her door, asking for a ride to the hospital, stating that he fell out of his friend’s vehicle but was unsure whether he was thrown out.

6:09 a.m. — A caller on the 11800 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported the theft of solar lights for security purposes.

12:24 p.m. — A caller on the 13000 block of Idaho Maryland Road reported the theft of copper wiring.

3:10 p.m. — A caller on Greenhorn Road reported the theft of a cell phone by an ex-lover but became irate and hung up.

4:56 p.m. — A caller on the 12100 block of Flying T Road reported that a friend he was visiting sprayed him in the face with pepper spray. Caller refused medical attention, was unsure of his friend’s address and admitted to have been drinking.

2:59 a.m. — A caller on the 11400 block of Snowline Road reported two bears ripping into a garbage shed.

6:23 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a man’s dog attacking other people’s dogs as they walk by the Boardwalk.

3:48 a.m.— A caller at a hotel on the 200 block of Broad Street reported a man and woman demanding to be let into a room. A subsequent call at 7:26 p.m. reported a female in the lobby refusing to leave and causing a disturbance.

5:16 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Broad Street reported an intoxicated individual kicking a parking meter continuously. Amid other descriptions, he was reportedly wearing flip flops.

2:42 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Sacramento Street reported detaining an individual who burglarized multiple vehicles in a parking lot.

11:33 a.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Providence Mine Road reported a burglary to a business.
