Police blotter: Caller reports persecution


Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

8:45 a.m. — A woman from Slate Creek and Ridge roads reported people threw fruit at her car as she was driving by.

9:35 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported a garden had been entered, locks cut and a shed broken into.

12:49 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported an ongoing issue with a neighbor banging on her door and window, looking for someone.

4:37 p.m. — A caller from Elisabeth Daniels Park reported two men drinking alcohol and doing drugs. They were gone when officers arrived.

5:32 p.m. — A caller reported check fraud; the incident occurred in Placer County.

Wednesday

4:27 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of South Auburn Street reported two men in black on private property, one of whom had a flashlight.

5:07 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Washington Street reported a noise but could not be more descriptive.

9:24 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Slate Creek Road reported someone used a Social Security number to file a false tax return.

9:36 a.m. — A caller reported child abuse.

9:37 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Patricia Way reported a deer stuck in some wiring; it was cleared and mobile.

10:36 a.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Landon Lane reported having a dog detained that attacked her dog yesterday.

10:59 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Broken Oak Court reported identity theft.

11:28 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Nugget Lane reported four dogs howling all day.

12:24 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Easy Street reported chickens causing noise and smell issues.

1:57 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Jericho Road reported the theft of climbing rope and equipment.

4:18 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Greenhorn Road reported items were missing and property moved.

4:29 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Alta Sierra Drive reported a woman was the target of a phone scam.

4:49 p.m. — A woman from Tyler-Foote Crossing Road reported her dog was run over on purpose.

5:04 p.m. — A caller reported that a boy from the 1000 block of Walker Drive said a woman slapped him and accused him of stealing money.

5:31 p.m. — A woman from Hilltop Road reported a man had been hacking into her computer.

6:17 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of La Sierra Circle reported a fight, possibly physical, that had been going on for a couple of hours.

7:57 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Cedar Ridge Road reported fraud.

8:13 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported lights on in a vacant residence. It was secured.

Wednesday

5:51 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Sunset Avenue reported a very strong smell of marijuana that was making him sick.

12 p.m. — A caller from Bridge Way reported fraudulent activity on a computer.

2:07 p.m. — A caller from Helling Way reported being under persecution.
