Rooster attack, rabid fox highlight police blotter

Friday

4:06 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of East Main Street reported vandalism of the bricks in front of her residence, something the caller described as a frequent occurrence.

5:10 p.m. — A caller on the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported a possible assault evidenced from a “very bloody” young man.

7:24 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of East Main Street and Bennett Street reported some kids stole money from her at Memorial Park.

8:59 p.m. — A caller on the 2000 block of Ridge Road reported a vehicle window broken and purse stolen.

8:51 a.m. — A caller on the 300 block of Second Street reported the theft of a stereo from an unlocked vehicle.

12:39 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported that someone left a puppy in a hot car for more than 30 minutes and that the dog is in distress from the heat.

2:49 p.m. — A caller on the 300 block of Buena Vista reported the theft of a licence plate.

6:52 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of South Auburn Street requested a ride from the police to the homeless shelter.

7:15 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Neal Street reported overhearing eight individuals discussing entering a grocery store with the intent to steal items and then entered the store.

9:43 p.m. — A caller on Colfax Avenue reported witnessing a man have his pitbull attack an individual he was fighting with.

10:02 p.m. — A caller on the 900 block of Plaza Drive reported the theft of a stereo from a vehicle.

9:29 a.m. — A caller on the 10500 block of Willow Valley Road reported a burglary.

9:39 a.m. — A caller on the 11400 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported a rabid fox in a business center parking lot.

10:46 a.m. — A caller on the 10099 block of Ridgewood Road reported two individuals came to the caller’s residence, wearing full SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) gear, claiming to be police officers.

10:56 a.m. — A caller on the 10500 block of Willow Valley Road reported a burglary of a nonprofit that manages cemeteries.

12:14 p.m. — A caller on the 13400 block of Saffron Drive reported the theft of a handgun, possibly by the caller’s son.

5:56 p.m. — A caller on the 18500 block of Penn Valley Driver requested contact after a rooster attack in a park.

9:46 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Highway 20 with Scotts Flat Road reported a large boulder had fallen into the roadway.

10:58 p.m. — A caller at a gas station on the 10000 block of Combie Road reported the theft of a wallet.

7:11 a.m. — A caller on the 14500 block of Silver Pick Court reported the theft of multiple items from an unlocked vehicle.

9:51 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Lazy Lane and Pleasant Valley Road requested a welfare check on a horse that appeared to be starved and sick.

10:10 a.m. — Several callers around Wild Turkey Lane reported several loose cows.

5:37 p.m. — A caller on Rollins Lake requested assistance because his boat broke down and people were stranded at the Sand Bar.

10:14 p.m. — A caller on the 23100 block of Sunset Ridge Drive reported receiving lewd photos through text message.
