Police blotter: Strange man in underwear


Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

8:29 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of Conaway Avenue reported someone threw a rock through his window last night.

8:34 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sierra College Drive reported credit card fraud.

8:47 a.m. — A woman from Rockwood Drive reported attempted credit card fraud.

9:20 a.m. — A caller from Joerschke Drive reported a man acting strange, wearing only underwear. A second caller reported him on East Main Street.

9:27 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Minnie Street reported a woman throwing items out of a vehicle. She was advised to clean it up.

10:07 a.m. — A man reported having been assaulted in the 100 block of West Main Street last night.

10:11 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Maltman Drive reported a man causing a disturbance and being combative. He was arrested.

11:07 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Richardson Street reported a burglary to a vehicle.

11:24 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Arcadia Drive reported possible squatters.

5:33 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Maltman Drive reported a man singing loudly and screaming; he could not be located.

5:45 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man stole a bottle of alcohol; he could not be located.

6:32 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of South Auburn Street reported possible drug activity.

6:46 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported people smoking marijuana.

9:23 p.m. — A caller from Glasson Way and Catherine Lane reported the theft of an iPad.

10:46 p.m. — A caller from Wendy Circle reported doorbell ditching.

11:28 p.m. — A caller from Hennessy School reported a loud party; several juveniles fled the scene.

1:16 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Main Street reported the theft of a wallet.

9:43 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Duggan Road reported a burglary and vandalism.

10:24 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Tyler-Foote Crossing Road reported multiple acts of vandalism, with vehicle doing doughnuts and running over property signs.

10:59 a.m. — A woman from the 20000 block of Big Springs Drive reported vandalism to a transformer box.

12:03 p.m. — A woman from the 17000 block of North Cherry Creek Road reported losing $600 in a scam.

12:07 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of American Hill Road reported the theft of items from a residence.

12:21 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 15000 block of Johnson Place reported a person was yelling and possibly on drugs.

12:28 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile assaulted another juvenile.

4:28 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Vandevere Road reported underweight horses.

6:05 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Deer Park Drive reported the theft of a Kindle Fire.

2:25 a.m. — A caller from Tyler-Foote Crossing and Purdon roads reported a person in a lifted truck purposely rammed a gate and damaged a work truck.

10:11 a.m. — A woman from Broad Street reported a person took off with her property in her car.

11:22 a.m. — A caller from Broad and Union streets reported a theft.
