Police blotter: Partiers talking about drugs

10:05 a.m. — A woman from Tinloy Street reported the theft of a cell phone.

10:30 a.m. — A caller from the 1800 block of East Main Street reported a man beating a dog; he was gone when officers arrived.

11:19 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Buena Vista Street reported a vehicle burglary.

1:18 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Park Avenue reported vandalism to a van.

1:21 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a shoplifter, who was admonished at the victim’s request.

1:49 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported vandalism.

5:53 p.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Miners Trail reported someone entered her garage and stole her VIN plate off her vehicle.

9:38 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Butler Street reported a man causing a disturbance over a lighter, with pushing and shoving.

10:05 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Richardson Street reported ongoing issues with campaign transients.


1:46 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Hughes Road reported two men and two women in her backyard; they could not be located.

8:53 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Downwind Court reported fox issues.

9:27 a.m. — A caller from Scotts Flat campground reported a bathroom had been damaged and burned.

11:04 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported the theft of meds.

11:30 a.m. — A caller reported that people on Hanging Wall Drive had been partying all night and talking about drugs.

1:15 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Hemlock Drive reported identity theft.

1:38 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Brookside Way reported the theft of firearms from a vehicle.

2:02 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Gleko Road reported ongoing trespassing.

3:22 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive reported her dog might have been shot; she was taking the dog to the vet.

3:45 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported someone used an 11-year-old girl’s Social Security number.

5:04 p.m. — A caller from the jail reported an assault involving two inmates.

6:41 p.m. — A caller from Perimeter and Bear Hollow roads reported vandalism to mailboxes.

6:56 p.m. — A caller from Independence Trail reported three lost teens. They were located at 8:25 p.m. and were OK.

7:06 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Cameo Drive reported a physical fight involving a man and a woman holding a baby. She called to report he hit her in the face. He was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.

9:24 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported a neighbor was harassing her. The other party reported the woman was blaring her music and screaming at them to turn off their outside lights. At 10:04 p.m., the woman called back , then called repeatedly until 11 p.m. The situation was mediated.


1:45 a.m. — A caller from Sunset Avenue and East Drive reported a man was going through a car, then left on foot. Change was taken.
