Police blotter: Out of control twins


Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

8:10 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Clark Street reported the theft of jewelry.

8:20 a.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of Segsworth Way reported meth activity.

8:39 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported vandalism to a bench.

8:40 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sutton Way reported a man in a sleeping bag.

8:42 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Race Street reported a burglary to a vehicle.

10:47 a.m. — A man fro the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported the theft of tools from the back of a pickup truck.

12:24 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of East Main Street reported bricks in front of her house had been vandalized.

1:12 p.m. — A man from the 1300 block of East Main Street reported someone tried to break in about two and a half hours earlier.

2:16 p.m. — A caller from Sutton Way reported a man threw a woman on the ground during a fight.

3:51 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and West Empire Street reported a large sinkhole.

6:58 p.m. — A man from the 1800 block of East Main Street reported being assaulted by a man.

7:19 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man let his pit bull out and it attacked another dog. A man called to report someone jumped on his back. A report was taken.

9 p.m. — A caller from South Auburn and Whiting streets reported hearing two gunshots.

9:39 p.m. — A woman from Joerschke Drive reported her 9-year-old twins were attacking her and throwing things.

Tuesday

10:31 a.m. — A woman from Loma Rica Drive and Brunswick Road reported the theft of her prescription medications.

10:39 a.m. — A woman from the 23000 block of Perimeter Road reported her husband choked her and threatened to cut her tongue out.

11:15 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Lakeshore South reported receiving a fraudulent call from someone requesting personal information in order for the caller to receive a new Medicare card.

11:28 a.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of New York Canyon Road reported someone broke into two vehicles; there were broken windows on both vehicles.

11:58 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Tyler-Foote Crossing Road reported a tree blocking the road.

12:45 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Perimeter Road reported a phone scam.

1 p.m. — A caller from the Penn valley Post Office requested extra patrols for a transient sleeping in the building, throwing cigarette butts and urinating on the side of the building.

1:59 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Penn Road reported credit card fraud.

2:13 p.m. — A woman from the 29000 block of Highway 49 reported a man had been following her in a vehicle, blowing kisses at her and touching himself. He then left.

2:30 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of McCourtney Road reported trespassers, who could not be located.

3:13 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile had been making and hiding weapons all over the facility; the juvenile was arrested on unknown charges.

4:05 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 reported road rage.

5:24 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported a dispute. A man then tried to get into a residence and broke windows. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public and violating probation.

5:26 p.m. — A woman from the 16000 block of Sharon Way reported possible bank account fraud.

5:39 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Star Drive reported possible fraud.

5:53 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Walker Drive reported a break-in.

6:26 p.m. — A caller from Williams Ranch School reported vandalism to the gym, with the contents of a fire extinguisher sprayed around.

6:31 p.m. — A caller from Gateway Park reported two boys in a vehicle driving on the baseball field; they were gone when deputies arrived.

6:46 p.m. — A woman from Brunswick Road and Highway 174 reported a theft from a vault.

9:10 p.m. — Multiple callers from Genasci Road reported gunshots. It was quiet when deputies arrived.

8:50 a.m. — A caller from Walrath Avenue reported two aggressive dogs chasing people.
