Transients, loose cattle and an angry hitch hiker


GRASS VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT

Wednesday

7:01 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Brunswick Road reported a homeless woman sleeping in front of the business.

7:54 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South School Street reported a transient going through recyclables and carrying a large black plastic bag.

10:07 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Whiting Street reported she received an obscene phone call around 3 a.m. where a male subject spoke mostly gibberish and then sounded like he was vomiting.

10:34 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported a drug deal.

11:33 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported a male transient sleeping in the parking lot who has approximately 30 bags of trash with him.

1:05 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported they found a wallet.

1:23 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Olympia Park Road reported someone left without paying for veterinary services for their dog.

1:50 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Scotia Pines Circle reported a possible transient camp on the other side of the fence in Condon Park.

2:10 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Brunswick Road reported he noticed sleeping items left behind by transients.

2:11 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Main Street reported a verbal disturbance with a bartender over a parking space.

3:15 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Brunswick Road reported a homeless subject who sleeps in the doorway of the business and leaves prior to the arrival of the day shift.

3:37 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported an older man wearing all black talking to himself.

5:55 p.m. — A caller from East Main Street and Presley Way reported needles on the sidewalk near the creek in front of the golf course.

6:06 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a woman caused a disturbance in the store because the employee refused to give them money for returning carts, and the woman was last seen flipping them off.

6:47 p.m. — A caller from the 1700 block of East Main Street reported an elderly male who is disoriented and lost, who wanted her to drive him around to find his residence.

6:52 p.m. — A caller from Bennett and Tinloy streets reported a male subject attempting to hitch hike, who flips vehicles off when they do not pick him up.

11:55 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a male digging through trash cans and recycling.

Wednesday

9:17 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Lost Trail reported mail theft.

9:34 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Greenhorn Access Road reported a gold-colored vehicle that appears “trashed” and is filled with trash.

10:12 a.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Highway 49 reported he saw a stolen trailer across the street from his location.

11:07 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Tim Burr Lane reported a burning plastic smell in the air.

1:11 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported another tenant in the park, who caused a disturbance with her, has followed her around and taken pictures of her.

2:35 p.m. — A caller from Massachusetts Hill reported a possible bullet hole in her window which she discovered yesterday.

2:52 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Banner Quaker Hill Road reported a theft to a residence, which possibly occurred last week where a generator, Weedeater and other tools were taken from a shed.

3:13 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Dog Bar Road reported loose cattle in the vicinity, heading toward the roadway.

3:34 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Beeman Lane reported malicious destruction of the interior of a rental property.

3:37 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Goldcone Drive reported two neighbors who ran over their property with their All Terrain Vehicles and knocked down one of the fences.

4:03 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Newtown Road reported a house with a large hole in the back door with broken glass all over the ground.

4:08 p.m. — A caller reported their 8-year-old son was missing from school.

5:58 p.m. — A caller from Wild Turkey Lane and Voyageur Way reported a subject who he had was seen towing away items in the roadway.

5:58 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Daisy Blue Mine Road reported computer theft.

6:56 p.m. — A caller from Patino and Hutto roads reported a subject, that is not supposed to have animals, has a dog that is tied up.

11:34 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Highway 174 reported subjects just entered a vacant home across the street.
