Grass Valley Police Department

Thursday

9:48 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man with “lots of tats” and a shaved head stole a 12-pack of beer and left in a truck.

10:05 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man shoplifted an item and locked himself in a bathroom stall.

12:50 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South School Street reported drugs.

1:50 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported transients camping near the creek No one was located.

2:41 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported transporting a man to the bank who skipped out on paying him. He could not be located.

2:46 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Park Avenue reported an assault.

3:30 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported possible drug activity.

3:57 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of North Auburn Street reported the theft of several items from an open garage.

4:02 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported a man and a woman smoking marijuana; they could not be located.

5:12 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a drunken man breaking bottles in front of a business. He could not be located.

8:45 p.m. — A caller from West Main and South Church streets reported people yelling, and a man with a knife. A report was taken.

1:10 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported finding drugs.

Thursday

8:12 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of East Drive reported a woman in a vehicle chasing a man down the street; no one was located.

8:15 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Valencia Road reported a man violating a restraining order by yelling and blasting his stereo since 5 a.m.

9:31 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Tyler Foote Crossing Road reported vandalism to a parking lot.

11:18 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported detaining a shoplifter.

11:42 a.m. — A caller from Cook Road reported a person in a small red helicopter lower than 500 feet, causing a disturbance.

12:19 p.m. — A woman from the 17000 block of Lake Forest Drive reported a man possibly tearing things apart at a residence; no one was located.

12:20 p.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Green Court reported a person used a bank card without permission, totaling $600.

12:59 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Murphy Road reported an escaped debris burn.

1:10 p.m. — A caller from the 25000 block of Table Meadow Road reported a possible fraud.

2:19 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Christopher Robin Way reported vandalism on a private roadway.

4:02 p.m. — A woman reported a girl was assaulted by another juvenile, who threw a rock at her, on Ridge Road.

4:52 p.m. — A caller from Penn Valley Drive reported four or five juveniles smoking marijuana, who were gone when deputies arrived.

Friday

12:19 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Pamela Drive reported non-payment of a cab fare; the suspect could not be located.

Nevada City Police Department

Thursday

2:16 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Zion Street reported a shoplifter, who was cited.

5:52 p.m. — A caller form the 200 block of Boulder Street reported the theft of a REI cross trainer bike from an unlocked garage.

11:04 p.m. — AA caller from West Broad and East Broad streets reported a man trying to ram the caller’s vehicle. No crime was found and both were advised of the restraining order process.

Friday

2:43 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and East Broad Street reported a vehicle flipped over on its top. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
