Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

10:32 a.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of Segsworth Way reported an embezzled vehicle.

10:59 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a man stole a soda.

12”49 p.m. — A caller from the 1100 block of East Main Street reported a woman took money from a tip jar.

1:42 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported six to 12 juveniles smoking marijuana; seven were asked to leave.

2:05 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported a woman beating her children; no child abuse was found.

2:45 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of North School Street reported the theft of multiple items from an unlocked vehicle.

4:18 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported two men in a physical fight, with one chasing the other around the parking lot. They could not be located.

4:45 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported someone cut a large hole in a vacant building to gain entry.

5:45 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported a physical fight.

5:46 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a shoplifter, who was cited.

9:58 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a theft of a cell phone and bag, as well as the registration papers, from an unlocked vehicle.

Tuesday

2:42 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Henderson Street reported loud music for the last several weeks. Loud music was heard but no one would come to the door.

5:59 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a person rifling through a truck, who then left on foot.

Monday

8:47 a.m. — A woman from the 16000 block of Brewer Road reported a sign posted on her lawn had been pulled up.

9:22 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Bridges Lane reported finding a possible incendiary device in a foreclosed home. It was found to be a home-made pyramid; because toxic chemicals were used, environmental services was called.

9:26 a.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Wings of Morning Drive reported boulders had been moved from her driveway.

9:46 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Butler Road reported a theft; it was a civil issue.

11:27 a.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of East Drive reported a possible tap on her phone.

1:43 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Street reported a person wrote a $1,000 check on a closed account.

3:02 p.m. — A caller from Doris Drive reported a fistfight.

3:17 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Robin Avenue reported a man was on a rampage, with a man trying to run over another man with a truck. He left the scene.

4:09 p.m. — A man reported a man driving a VW Passat pointed a gun at him after he accidentally cut him off on Highway 49 and Auburn Road. He could not be located.

4:14 p.m. — A man from the 12000 block of Highway 49 reported a possible attempted burglary of a business.

5:10 p.m. — A caller from Amber Street reported a physical fight.

7:07 p.m. — A caller from Squirrel Creek Road reported possible drug activity.

7:08 p.m. — A caller from North Bloomfield-Graniteville Road and Highway 49 reported a man carrying a rifle.

7:15 p.m. — A woman from the 14000 block of Durden Court reported a burglary to a residence with multiple items missing.

7:55 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Auburn Road reported a trespasser knocking on the door, who then left.

8:37 p.m. — A caller from New Rome and Lake Vera-Purdon roads reported a screaming woman running down the road. It was a verbal dispute and they had separated for the night.

11:43 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Rattlesnake Road reported an out-of-control burn pile.

Tuesday

12:23 a.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Berggren Lane reported a man was pounding on her windows; he was arrested on suspicion of violating his post-release community supervision.

3:37 a.m. — A woman from Idaho-Maryland and Banner Lava Cap roads reported her son assaulted her daughter, and broke her teeth, causing her to crash her vehicle. The victim did not need medical attention and declined prosecution.

5:07 a.m. — A caller from red Dog and Banner Quaker Hill roads reported a man yelling for help in the woods for 30 minutes.

Monday

8:57 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of North Pine Street reported a man left without paying; a friend settled the bill.
