Police blotter: Feb. 26, 2013


Grass Valley Police Department

Friday

8:30 a.m. — A caller from the 300 bock of Rhode Island Street reported a burglary to a vehicle.

8:34 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of East Main Street reported her daughter attacked her and was refusing to go to school. The girl was arrested on unknown charges.

3:58 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sutton Way reported a person dumping waste into the creek.

4:54 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported a burglary with muscle relaxants and hydrocodone stolen.

8:30 p.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of Sesgworth Way reported a woman giving an underage boy alcohol, who left with him in a vehicle. They could not be located.

10:21 p.m. — A caller from West Main and Mill streets reported a man ran out on his bill. He agreed to pay.

Saturday

12:15 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a man trying to start fights, who left before officers arrived.

2;06 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported a physical domestic violence incident. It was found to be verbal only.

Sunday

10:32 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of North Auburn Street reported a vehicle had been broken into.

11:27 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported vandalism to vehicles by juveniles.

1:32 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported vandalism to a building.

9:05 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Bernice Drive reported a man with no shirt and possibly no pants yelling and threatening to throw a rock at the caller. He agreed to stay inside.

9:27 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Apple Avenue reported receiving about 30 annoying phone calls.

Sunday

9:49 a.m. — A woman from the 18000 block of Old Coach Way reported her son was trying to hotwire her vehicle. He was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest.

9:54 a.m. — A caller from Sammies Friends reported someone broke and entered the fence line, but did not gain access to the interior area.

10:26 a.m. — A caller from Empress and Bitney Springs roads reported a fire.

11:19 a.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Goldcone Drive reported a neighbor shooting in a very unsafe manner.

11:20 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Lake Wildwood Drive reported vandalism to phone lines and the electrical box.

12:01 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Lake Wildwood Drive reported a raccoon acting strangely.

12:11 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Auburn Road reported a fight between two men, with an intoxicated man leaving in his truck, which possibly contained drugs and stolen items.

3:19 p.m. — A woman from the 19000 block of Lake Forest Drive reported a burglary to a residence with two TVs missing.

4:59 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Sunnyvale Lane reported domestic violence. A man was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.

6 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported a man exposing himself and urinating in front of a business. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

8:58 p.m. — A caller from Lasso Loop reported hearing a gunshot.

10:26 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Butterfly Lane reported hearing a gunshot. A woman said she was loading her firearm because she got a threat on Facebook, but there was a round stuck in it, and she figured the only way to unblock it was to fire it.

10:27 p.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of Cameron Way reported four people outside prowling, wearing masks and sitting in the caller’s vehicle. No one was located and the caller might have been confused.

11:50 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of San Francisco Street reported a physical fight between a man and a woman; it was found to be verbal.

Monday

12:26 a.m. — A caller from Shady Creek Drive and Tyler Foote Crossing Road reported a gunshot. It was quiet when deputies arrived.

9:18 a.m. — A woman from the 500 block of East Broad Street reported her outside lights had been torn up.

2:05 p.m. — A caller from Broad Street reported a man making a very loud noise with a harmonica.

Monday

12:56 a.m. — A woman from Hollow Way and Bost Avenue reported an assault.
