Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

7:58 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Margaret Lane reported the theft of a wallet from a locked vehicle.

3:38 p.m. — A caller fro Depot and Bennett streets reported a large group of juveniles smoking marijuana in the park.

7:03 p.m. — A caller from a business on Mill Street reported a theft.

7:18 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported being assaulted by a woman, possibly causing her to go into labor.

9:02 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported the theft of a mountain bike.

Tuesday

12:29 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a woman stole all his stuff and was running down the street with all his money.

12:31 a.m. — A caller from North Church Street and Doris Drive reported three gunshots.

1:56 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported someone assaulted him and removed his glasses; he was not injured.

5:47 a.m. — A caller from West Main and Alta streets reported juveniles putting trash cans in the middle of the street.

Monday

9:45 a.m. — A woman reported her husband went hiking at Purdon Crossing yesterday and had not returned. He was located and was on his way home.

10:02 a.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of Running Horse Road reported an assault that occurred two days ago.

10:51 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Gracie Road reported a dog and two cats abandoned on a rental home.

11:11 a.m. — A woman from the 23000 block of La Costa Court reported glass vials of ammonia sulfate were thrown at her house last night, and the house was teepeed.

11:52 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported two dogs in a trailer were only being taken care of every two or three days.

12:09 p.m. — A welfare check was requested on two dogs in the 12000 block of Torrey Pines Drive.

2:33 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Quail Creek Road reported a physical fight between a man and a woman. A be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued for the man.

2:57 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Hoppy Hollow Road reported an out-of-control brush fire.

5:18 p.m. — A caller from Tyler Foote Crossing and Old Mill roads reported a large roadside fire.

5:20 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Running M Drive reported peacocks.

5:30 p.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Thistle Loop reported a dispute between her husband and their neighbors. They currently were separated. At 8:37 p.m., a woman reported a man trying to break into a residence and threatening to kill people. They did not want to press charges.

5:39 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Rattlesnake Road reported a residential burglary.

5:42 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Lakeshore North reported a woman received four or five calls in the last two hours from a man requesting money for a lottery. When told to desist, the man became hostile.

6:22 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Sunnyvale Lane reported a person broke into her residence, then left; it was a civil issue.

6:27 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Bixler Place reported a forced entry had been made to a residence.

6:38 p.m. — A woman from the 18000 block of Bald Hill Road reported receiving two calls from a neighbor claiming she had been trespassing on his property. At 7:06 p.m., she reported her son heard six gunshots.

7:19 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Lake Wildwood Drive reported vandalism to phone lines and an electrical box.

8:17 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Via Del Sol reported an out-of-control juvenile pounding on windows and screaming.

8:34 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Melody Road reported seeing someone running across her property.

10:20 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Mills Road reported hearing five gunshots from a large-caliber firearm, with a vehicle leaving at high speed. Another caller reported rapid gunshots. A third caller reported a person shot at a residence and possibly had an AK-47. A be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued and the incident remains under investigation.

Tuesday

5:48 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Judith Court reported a man walking around the property, then jiggling the front door knob. He could not be located.

6:59 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Gold Flat Road reported a man on the freeway.

2:18 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Walrath venue reported a sewage leak.
