A Grass Valley man who was flown to a Roseville hospital Friday afternoon allegedly was suffering from a self-inflicted knife wound. Grass Valley Police officers responded to a 911 call in the 100 block of Pleasant Street just after noon Friday after the man reported he had been stabbed in the stomach. The man allegedly had been jumped by someone in the brush and stabbed, and the knife was still in his stomach, according to dispatch reports.
