Monday

8:26 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Main Street reported finding a syringe, which was collected.

8:36 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported recycled copper that might have been stolen.

9:07 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Whiting Street reported a rear plate had been stolen from a vehicle.

9:32 a.m. — A caller from Kidder Avenue reported a man possibly doing drugs.

10:40 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter, who was cited.

11:30 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported a possible stolen vehicle on the property.

12:23 p.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported an attempted shoplifting.

1:28 p.m. — A man from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported items were stolen from his vehicle.

1:28 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Empire Street reported a theft from a vehicle.

1:37 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Nevada City Highway reported an employee took $300 from a safe.

3:22 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a pigeon with a needle stuck in its neck; it could not be located.

4:17 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a possibly drunken driver trying to leave; the person was cited on unknown charges.

5:08 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter in custody, who was cited.

5:38 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Minnie Street reported a physical fight involving two men; they were advised to not return to the park for 24 hours.

5:44 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Church Street reported a confused woman in a back yard.

9:56 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a woman screaming and refusing to leave. She was advised against trespassing.

Tuesday

12:17 a.m. — A caller from Spring Street in Nevada City reported a man trying to get into cars; he could not be located.

2:50 a.m. — A caller from the hospital reported a woman sleeping in her vehicle in the parking lot who said she was hiding from people and the FBI; she was also wearing a helmet. She said she was there in case she needed medical attention during the night.

10:30 a.m. — A caller from Chateau Court and Retherford Road reported a dog and a pygmy goat running loose. A second caller reported the duo on Silver Fox Court at 2:10 p.m.

10:56 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Brooks Road reported finding a window pane near a door knob had been broken, but nothing had been taken from the residence.

11:31 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Banner Lava Cap Road reported identity theft.

12:28 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Crystal Wells Road reported a loose dog attacked his dog.

12:56 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Casci Ridge Road reported vandalism to a foreclosed house.

2:29 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of School Street reported the theft of gas and aluminum.

4:50 p.m. — A caller from the Ophir Hill Fire Department reported someone dropped off a three-gallon bucket of old ammunition.

4:55 p.m. — A woman from Pleasant Valley Road reported her 17-year-old son punched her 9-year-old, knocking the wind out of him. He did not need medical attention.

5:29 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Matthew Lane reported losing two blue and gold macaws.

5:31 p.m. — A caller from Rock Hill Road reported an excessive number of feral cats and dogs in small cages with no water.

5:55 p.m. — A woman from the 14000 block of Gas Canyon Road reported the theft of a washer and dryer, a mountain bike and three guitars.
