A Grass Valley man arrested in August in connection with a number of burglaries, after allegedly being caught in the act at a local grocery store, was sentenced Friday to 240 days in jail. Grass Valley Police officers had responded to a report of a young man with a knife in the 600 block of Sutton Way. Eric Hayden Geisick, 18, was located inside Grocery Outlet and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
