Grass Valley Police Department

Sunday

1:03 p.m. — A caller from the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a person defrauded a business. He agreed to go in and pay what he owed.

3:36 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported possible drug activity.

6:17 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported two shoplifters in custody.

7:24 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported people refusing to leave, who possibly took alcohol from a store. No one was located.

8:37 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Hughes Road reported three people in a vehicle who put an unknown substance in a Pringles can and then into the trash. Contraband was located and collected for destruction.

9:56 p.m. — A caller from Sutton Way and Brunswick Road reported a possibly drunken driver ran a stop sign and hit a curb. The person could not be located.

Sunday

8:32 a.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Dog Bar Road reported a horse possibly had been shot and killed.

8:57 a.m. — A woman from the 18000 block of Brewer Road reported two dogs injured a pregnant sheep to the point where it had to be put down.

10:26 a.m. — A man from the 12000 block of Foster Road reported a burglary to a residence with guns taken.

12:33 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Noel Lane reported a man who said he had been assaulted, possibly due to a drug deal gone awry. He could not be located.

2:44 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Spenceville Road reported tagging to the back of a business.

2:43 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Swallow Way reported identity theft.

2:55 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of C Street reported the theft of jewelry from a bedroom.

3:55 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and White Cloud reported a vehicle into a tree and a vehicle off the road.

4:14 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Pekolee Drive reported a physical fight. A juvenile was being restrained who had assaulted staff members with a large piece of tile and caused large amounts of property damage.

5:10 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Airport Road reported a shooter on the road. Another caller reported hearing three gunshots. No one was located.

7:12 p.m. — A caller from Cherokee Street reported a man in a manic rage, possibly under the influence, who had left in a vehicle, last seen wearing a beanie with aluminum foil under his beanie and his clothing. A be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued.

7:47 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Boquest Drive reported someone shooting off fireworks.

8:48 p.m. — A caller from Pleasant Valley Road reported someone walking on the roof of the school. Five were detained, warned and released to their parents.

1:56 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Tall Tree Road reported a blown transformer.

9:14 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street requested a bar check for tweakers.
