Police blotter: Jan. 25, 2013


Grass Valley Police Department

Wednesday

11:05 a.m. — A woman reported a man possibly was stalking her. No crime was found to have occurred and she was advised of the restraining order process.

11:44 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported her driver’s license and a debit card were stolen out of her jacket, which she had left on the porch.

5:22 p.m. — A woman from Presley Way reported a dispute that might be physical. No crime was found to have occurred; it was a family argument.

5:41 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported two shoplifters in custody, who were cited and released.

6:20 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Clydesdale Court reported a burglary with multiple items taken.

10:11 p.m. — A caller from West Main and South Church streets reported two possibly drunken men, one of whom head-butted a vehicle. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

11:41 p.m. — A caller from Sutton Way reported a man driving on the sidewalk who might be drunk. He had had a recent back surgery and was provided a ride back to his residence.

Wednesday

9:26 a.m. — A man from the 20000 block of McDaniel Road reported a property for sale had been listed on Craigslist as being for rent.

9:37 a.m. — A caller from Patterson Mine Road reported transients on a property, and chainsaws being used in the middle of the night.

10:34 a.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Boulder Street reported trespassers.

1:11 p.m. — A caller from Indian Springs Road reported loose sheep in and out of the roadway.

1:28 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Magnolia Road reported a bank fraud.

2:14 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Lakeshore North reported an explosive device had been found under a vehicle on Jan. 20.

2:31 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Willow Valley Road reported people had locked her out of a residence and were living there, in a Craigslist scam. The people agreed to be gone by Saturday.

3:44 p.m. — A woman from Highway 20 and Pleasant Valley Road reported a vehicle had rolled over her daughter’s foot.

3:55 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of School Street reported being chased by a dog.

7:05 p.m. — A man from the 15000 block of Harmony Estates Road reported automatic gunfire; it was quiet when deputies arrived.

7:14 p.m. — A caller from Patricia Way reported a physical fight, with a man pushing a boy and kicking a woman. No medical attention was needed.

7:17 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a man looking through a kitchen window.

7:32 p.m. — A caller from Dog Bar Road reported a fight between a man and a woman, with the man stabbing himself in the chest. He was gone when deputies arrived and a be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued.

9:28 p.m. — A woman from Brookside Way reported people were under her house again.

10:11 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Bartlett Drive reported someone egged a house and poured epoxy down a car door frame on both doors.

Wednesday

5 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Orchard Street reported a physical fight. A person was given a ride.

9:40 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a man put a large hole in a bathroom wall before leaving the scene.
