Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

7:18 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported finding a hypodermic needle, which was collected for destruction.

9:08 a.m. — A caller from East Main Street reported possible road rage with a driver cutting off vehicles and flipping off drivers, crossing over the double yellow lines and nearly causing several accidents.

10:47 a.m. — A caller from East Main Street and Dorsey Drive reported a woman running in and out of traffic. She was being talked to by a counselor.

12:36 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sierra College Drive reported three boys threw glass in the roadway. They could not be located.

2:26 p.m. — A woman from the 500 block of Wiley Lane reported possible identity theft through a Craigslist ad.

5:02 p.m. — A man from the 1500 block of East Main Street reported a woman tried to assault him and drove her vehicle toward him like she was going to hit him.

7:13 p.m. — A man from Minnie Street reported he was following a woman who cut her wrists; he was chasing her through Condon Park. She was transported for a mental health evaluation.

8:56 p.m. — A man from the 400 block of Henderson Street reported his residence had been burglarized.

10:09 p.m. — A woman from Brunswick Road reported the theft of a debit card.

Tuesday

8:07 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 reported a burglary to a wood shop with the possible theft of tools.

8:17 a.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Sun Terrace Court reported fraudulent activity of a credit card for $1,500.

8:50 a.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Black Road reported her neighbor’s ducks and chickens destroy her plants and eat seeds.

9:14 a.m. — A woman from the 20000 block of Dog Bar Road reported the theft of money by a man.

9:36 a.m. — A man from the 14000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported he was being stalked by someone in a blue Honda.

9:40 a.m. — A caller from Indian Flat Road and Indian Trail reported people living in a trailer that was not hooked up to a septic system.

10:05 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Leaf Lane reported a dog injured a fawn, which could not be located.

10:23 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Anchor Lane reported a dog bite; the dog was quarantined.

10:34 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Gautier Drive reported the theft of a firearm.

10:37 a.m. — A caller from Nevada Union High School reported a student who possibly was intoxicated, who was transported.

11:14 a.m. — A caller from McCourtney Road reported an out-of-control boy pounding on walls, who was taken home by his mother.

12:27 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Round Valley Road reported a controlled burn had started a grass fire.

12:51 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Wolf Road reported a person was throwing her items on a large fire a day before she was scheduled to move out.

2:04 p.m. — A man from Karen Drive and East Lime Kiln Road reported illegal dumping of butane canisters.

2:52 p.m. — A man from the 20000 block of Adamson Drive reported two dogs running amok; they were contained.

3:01 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Perimeter Road reported two loud explosions.

3:05 p.m. — A man from Highway 49 reported a road rage incident.

4:47 p.m. — A caller from Norlene and Agnes ways reported a confrontation with three boys and a girl over ongoing vandalism.

6:40 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Wolf Road reported the theft of a Makita drill.

Tuesday

8:03 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Railroad Avenue reported a man and a woman sleeping in a room who were not supposed to be there. They fled.

8:43 a.m. — A caller from Bost Avenue and Hollow Way reported a transient going in yards. He was advised not to trespass.

12:41 p.m. — A caller from Galena Way reported an unsightly truck because it had only three tires and a jack.
