Police Blotter: Threats to children, neighbors steal rocking chair

Wednesday

7:54 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of Carpenter Street reported a man took his green Subaru Legacy.

8:43 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Brunswick Road reported a burglary to a business.

9:13 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of West Main Street reported ongoing problems with a transient, who was advised not to trespass.

10:26 a.m. — A caller from East Empire and South Auburn streets reported a man in the road trying to flag people down. The caller then reported a drug deal. Two juveniles were contacted who had marijuana; they were turned over to the school resource officer.

11:06 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Walsh Street reported a man banging on a neighbor’s truck and yelling.

11:17 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Park Avenue reported the neighbors stole her rocking chair.

11:19 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Church Street reported vandalism to a door and items thrown around.

11:55 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and West Empire Street reported a vehicle hit a pole.

12:48 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Sierra College Drive reported a physical fight with the parties separated.

12:58 p.m. — A man from Neal and South Auburn streets reported he was hit by a motorcycle and needed medical treatment.

2:49 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Northstar Place reported people looking into Dumpsters.

3:21 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported the theft of license plates from two vehicles.

3:40 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of a Honda from a parking lot.

6:29 p.m. — A caller from Sutton Way and Brunswick Road reported a woman talking about mutilation and slitting people’s throats.

10:30 p.m. — A caller from the hospital reported a woman overdosed on heroin.

11:04 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported someone broke out the windows on a vehicle.

Thursday

3:24 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported a dispute, possibly physical. Nothing was located.

10:15 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported an assault.

11:11 a.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of Duckabush Court reported a fraud.

11:39 a.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported receiving a call from someone claiming she won a Mercedes and $17.5 million but needed $1,000 sent to them.

12:05 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Wildflower Drive reported a fraudulent phone call.

12:18 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Bragg Avenue reported four people broke into a home and were smoking marijuana, then foot-bailed.

2:02 p.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Westhome Road reported a house had been burglarized.

2:22 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Charles Drive reported vandalism.

2:32 p.m. — A caller from Brunswick Road and Loma Rica Drive reported a man standing in traffic, covering his face.

4:18 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Highway 174 reported a possibly malnourished horse.

8:15 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported a woman drinking gin from a bottle, who could not be located.

9:10 p.m. — A man from Thunder Road reported a woman had napkins on which threats had been written to kill her children; the suspect had illegal assault weapons.
